Alpha Project is a Battlefield 2 modification which goals are to bring back all the features that were left out in the retail game. The gameplay style of the mod is a mixture of arcade and realism.

I think that this is a little too much. You went from focusing on gameplay to cramming in as many cool guns as possible.
thats what everyone want, seeing the comments every day and most people complain that we have not enough weapons, thats a fact, also im alone atm in the coding/tweaking department, noone to help me implent new ideas if i would have one, most of the stuff we aproach needs python and thats something i cant do...
I've spent some good time in tweaking BF2, perhaps I could help in someway?
Maybe adding weapons seems like good idea, but too much new weapons is just not so good. I think it'll be far from Alpha Project's true goal. Maybe more customization and enhanced AI will be good too. But it's up to you.
