Alpha Project is a Battlefield 2 modification which goals are to bring back all the features that were left out in the retail game. The gameplay style of the mod is a mixture of arcade and realism.

As i just came back from my vacation i wana wish you all merry christmas and a happy new year folks and thanks for supporting alpha project to everyone!
v 0.2 is coming before 2013 right ?
It's not likely. They told you to not expect a Christmas release, which easily means the mod's unfinished, And it's far from a release-ready version.
Btw, after seeing this pic i thought you guys are going to include AIX's Pave Low :/
