They just wanted to make a combo like that "Epic." one. And that is on only 2-3 pics, you say (used to say?) something with "sex" on a lot of images (not to mention a bunch of followers). Plus you're a combo breaker ;) And who cares about thumbs up/down anyways? Why cry when your comment's burried?
My feelings get really hurt when I upset a bunch of people. The internet is full of real people, not AI. I stopped saying "That's sexy" before this happened. I reply to my thumbs downed comment because I don't want people to hate me. You happy now?

It would be amazing to see Bad_santa's scope shaders on this one.

as its now the shaders will be only added to the sniperrifles but who knows... the alpha project aimpoint scopes are just to small on the screen to make shaders worth it, because 3/4 of the screen would be blured out if we did and that looks stupid.
And i dont want our animators to reanimate all 3d scopes to be closer to the eye just to fit blured out vision... that doesnt worth the effort and is way to much work we can spend on things that have more priority.

That would be a simple texture swap but oh well...
Modelling. Reticles are modelled, not textured. At least in vanilla...
In this case the reticle is a textured 2d plane that is alpha tested to the shape of the reticle. Because the exporter, atleast the one that i am using, won't export small enough polygons needed for the small details like the numbers and such.
No minding the numbers, not like they represent the in-game distances ;)

I have spent countless hours to find an airsoft Elcan sight. I guess such things just don't get to Estonia. And I don't have enough money to get it elsewhere.
Don't know if I should hate alpha for giving me this idea or love it for obvious reasons...
