Alpha Project is a Battlefield 2 modification which goals are to bring back all the features that were left out in the retail game. The gameplay style of the mod is a mixture of arcade and realism.

Description
Thanks to Hjid its finaly possible to have dynamic weapon-dropkits that interact with the enviroment when you get shot!
As you could see in pre-release bf2 footage, when you get shot your weapon fall off your hands, they can be picked up again of corse!

Modders have known how to do this for a while, the problem was was that when the weapon was dropped, you couldn't use that weapon that was dropped in the kit you want to pick up, because the weapon had already been dropped!
So JONES and Hjid, what you've done here, did you two manage to make the weapon able to be picked up as the kit itself or have the weapon stay in the kit which you pick it up off a dead soldier? If so, WOW! GODDAMN!! I'm sure every Battlefield mod would want something like this.
For now, the weapons will just replace the dropbags from vBF2. With dynamic, we mean that they will be able to slide down hills and stuff.
I'm not sure if I understood your question right, but yes, the weapons will dissapear from the ground when you pick them up.

Maybe other mod teams have made a very simple thing very complicated. I dont even understand why you need python for this anyway.
