Because... it's a custom story mate.
Just because it's a custom doesn't mean that it has to be short, but even short stories can be awesome :) I'm going to give this a try now.
Short-story custom stories are kind of my thing; I can't blame you if you want more.
...But I can recommended Other for another SSCS experience.
I couldn't get mine to run, something about coast unit/move player forward. Something along the lines of that
