Greetings Rebels or Imperials, I thought I would answer a few questions.

Will you ever change the colors of the Empire? Make them pink, or green, or something other than Blue! please!

Haha, no I am keeping them blue. I think blue is a good representation for them.


Where can I construct the Eclipse?

I have been asked that question before. On Byss.


Why did you add Jakku if you are only focusing around the Galactic Civil War?

I added Jakku because of the novel Star Wars: Aftermath and Star Wars: Battlefront. While I am mainly focusing around the Galactic Civil War, I may branch out. Regardless, Jakku was were the New Republic/Rebel Alliance and Galactic Empire had their last major battle of the entire Civil War. In fact, the last Imperial Super Star Destroyer was taken out during that battle. 29 years later during the events of Episode VII, it can still be seen laying in the sand dead upside down. Rey flew the Millenneum Falcon through it.


Will you add anymore planets?

I am considering adding Takodana. It is one of the locations in Star Wars: Commander, so... maybe.


When is the next update?

Sometime in May... Early May. Around Star Wars day.


Am I okay with negative feedback?

I welcome all feedback... yes even if it is negative. The more feedback I get, the more likely I can improve Alliance at War. Feedback is very valuable to me.


Is Alliance at War focusing on canon?

I do focus on canon. You may have noticed that a few things here and there have changed a bit. One example would be Korriban's new name being Moraband. As canon develops, I will do my best to keep up with the changes.


Anyway, that is just a few questions I'd thought I'd answer. I do have a question for you all, though. How often do you use the Fleet and Field Commanders, and the Rebel Infiltrator?

Hey there. :)
I`ve downloaded this mod and played a bit. It`s realy cool, but dont U think that ships are extremely big? I mean it looks slightly unbalanced cuz capital ships bigger than station.
Also i can`t see a model of Princess Leia in ground combat, is that some kind of bug or U just dont have it now? :D
I think you still have a lot of work to do, but even on this moment it is realy great modification! Thank you for your work and good luck.

The ship's have been resized to a more realistic size. I took the time to learn each ship length and make comparisons to make them as relatively close to their actual size as I could. Do not worry about damage valuse, I have not touched them. Sense day one I have maintained their default damage values. And Princess Leia should already be usable, if she is not them I promise to have her unlocked in the next update. And yes I do have a lot of work to, but the next update will not be ready for a really long time. My laptop broke so right now I am searching for a new one. Also, thank you for the complement, Dualoner. It is appreciated. Ha, and yes your English is fine.

Hm.. well i think I can get used to such size of ships when 1 ship = 1 screen :DDDD
About Princess Leia. She is usable, but when u trying to summon her in ground combat u can see her. Like if her model is missing. Its just nothing instead of her but you can mark and control her.
No problem man, i`ll be waiting for updates.)

Hmm. I think I know what is crashing my game. I think it's after a fleet commander enters the skirmish. I've noticed that about a minute after a fleet commander enters the skirmish, the game always crashes. Skirmish for space is unplayable. I haven't tried ground though.

I will search for any errors in the XML coding, Reedytyler43. If there is a problem I hope I can locate it before next month. That is when I release the next update.

It may not actually be the fleet commanders. I've made it so the AI can't build them and the game still crashes. Thanks for the reply, though. Ground works fine though

Hmm. this is a nice mod and all, but I am getting tons of crashes just minutes into a skirmish game. I have the RAM patch installed. This mod is really the only one that crashes a lot compared to others. I am using a 64 bit Windows 7 computer if that is any help. I am also using the most recent version of the mod. Any suggestions or help?

The ai is not responding for me in any way (skirmish or GC), any idea why? Otherwise the mod looks cool, i like the YT-2000 that's available in skirmish (make is available in GC!) Thanks keep up the good work

It might be how you installed it. Did you place the "Alliance-at-War" folder in your mods folder?

Alliance-at-war folder is in mods folder, Alliance-at-war.bat is in the main FoC folder, the game launches fine and allows me to play, the ai just does nothing

it appears the AI is not functioning on regular FoC now either, so i completely uninstalled and reinstalled, still not working! any help is appreciated

It could be caused by another mod. The A.I. in Alliance at War will not right if Republic at War is installed.

okay, i did a fresh install of FoC, no mods installed and i get the same result, fresh install of Alliance-at-war and still no AI movement. playing on a windows 7 pc if that matters

I am going to take a look at the A.I. files again. When you was playing in Galactic Conquest, how many weeks were you in? The A.I. will not start attacking until week 10.

not 100% sure how far in, but i think it was past 10 weeks. They weren't even conquering planets though, empire was stuck on Coruscant. Wasn't working on skirmish either, let me know what you find out, im gonna see if i cant find anything out on the internet

Sense it is "Empire at War" scenario, give it a little bit more time. Both you and the Imperials start off with very little. The A.I. needs a little extra time to build up. Be careful, though: the A.I. will rush to take a lot of planets first.

Cool idea, but what would have made it more interestin is if all the particles were purple too (ex. blaster fire, missiles...) and made the empire a different color like green. I hope this mod gets expanded beyond the colors.
