This mod, formally Violet Alliance, enhances the original game by unlocking, changing, and adding. Enjoy. :^)

You know I see a lot of Empire fans state that the Rebel Alliance are terrorists. I simply see them as trying to restore their Republic. Think of it like this: you are part of a republic and one day an Empire destroys that government, conquers your home, takes away your freedoms, and tells you what you can and cannot do. Would you like that? Or would you join a revolution? Remember the Alliance did restore the Republic and they helped restore the Jedi. If a faction came along and destroyed your government and tried to change your way of life what would you do?

Anyway, I was going to post some news last week, but kept forgetting to. I am going to try to get another update in sometime this years, I promise. I would post up a newer version today but I have not done much. Sense the last version I posted I have worked on a few maps, worked on scaling for space units and a few ground units, and a few other minor things. Beyond that I have not done much. Like I stating above, I would post a new version now, but I think you all would rather wait for at least something more.

Larry, what is the launch text to launch the game? It is the only thing I'm missing and I can't read it in your video as it is to blurry.

Hey there. Your mod looks REALLY cool!

Since I've had trouble with no mods except yours, I'm gonna ask this here:

Can you help me out with installing your mod? I've done it just the same as any other, and it won't work. Sorry if I'm a bother or if I'm not supposed to ask this here.

Thank you, Tr33grass. It is not a problem, I will help as best as I can. Did you place the "Alliace-at-War" folder in your Mods folder?

Yes sir.
Just to save space and time, here's how it all went:
Got the file, put it in my directory, which is C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Mods.
Then I tried to copy the .bat file (which was from the download) to my desktop and run it, and it only ran the regular game.
Same thing happened when I ran it by using the Modlauncher by Anakin_Sklavinwalker.
Also, just in case there may have been a mishap during download and it didn't download all of it or not all of it was unpacked or something, the download contained a folder named Alliance at War, and inside that was the .bat file and a folder Alliance-at-War, which has the DATA file in it.

I created a help video, Tr33Grass. It is a little blurry but I do hope it helps. If it does not, feel free to message me.

Thank you very much! That was what I thought I did, but something must have been different cause it works now. Again, thanks, I can't wait to see what else comes to this mod in the future!

I was originally going to make it only usable by the Consortium -- because by the time of the Galactic Civil War the Venator was largely obsolete, but pirate forces still made use of them. But I know the Venator is quite popular with a lot of people so any side should be able to get it in free play at a Merchant dry dock.
