This mod, formally Violet Alliance, enhances the original game by unlocking, changing, and adding. Enjoy. :^)

I am about to post a minor update. It is nothing to major. I worked on the a.i. a bit, a few of the lasers, and I fixed a few text issues I found. If you guys find any issues remember feel free to tell me. I appreciate any feedback, no matter how small.

So this morning I was battling on Fondor, and I thought I was going to lose because all I had on the surface was a barracks and a field commander. When the battled started I noticed civilians helping me, but they were all dying by infantry and pulse tanks. It was horrible they were getting ran over, their homes were exploding, some were running in different directions, and a few was actually shooting the Consortium units. I kept saying no, no, no run faster soldiers. Because my barracks was way off to the side and my soldiers had to run all the way around. Still the civilians kept the Consortium busy to the point that I was able to get the vanguard plex guys into positions to blast all their tanks. By the time they started to retreat all the civilian spawn buildings were destroyed and smoking and there was only a few of them left standing over a lot of dead ones. You brave bastards... thank you. It was really sad that they died... it was funny! But still very, very sad.

Larry, what is the launch text to launch the game? It is the only thing I'm missing and I can't read it in your video as it is to blurry.

I always enjoy helping a lady, especially one who is a Star Wars fan. (^:
Regardless, by launch text do you mean the shortcut path or... ?

I'm not the best at dealing with mods, but in steam for me to get the Imperial Civil War mod to launch you have to right click on the game, go to properties, and then click on launch options at which point I had to put this ( MODPATH=Mods\Imperial_Civil_War )box for it to launch. I need the launch option for Alliance at War. Also a totally random question, can you play as Hapes Consortium in this mod? They are my favorite faction in Star Wars Lore.

Is this what you need, Shadow? ( swfoc MODPATH=Mods\Alliance-at-War )

I am quite fond of the Hapes Consortium, too. I had wanted to add them, but sadly no - they are not in it.

Hey there. Your mod looks REALLY cool!

Since I've had trouble with no mods except yours, I'm gonna ask this here:

Can you help me out with installing your mod? I've done it just the same as any other, and it won't work. Sorry if I'm a bother or if I'm not supposed to ask this here.

Thank you, Tr33grass. It is not a problem, I will help as best as I can. Did you place the "Alliace-at-War" folder in your Mods folder?

Yes sir.
Just to save space and time, here's how it all went:
Got the file, put it in my directory, which is C:\Program Files\LucasArts\Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption\Mods.
Then I tried to copy the .bat file (which was from the download) to my desktop and run it, and it only ran the regular game.
Same thing happened when I ran it by using the Modlauncher by Anakin_Sklavinwalker.
Also, just in case there may have been a mishap during download and it didn't download all of it or not all of it was unpacked or something, the download contained a folder named Alliance at War, and inside that was the .bat file and a folder Alliance-at-War, which has the DATA file in it.

I created a help video, Tr33Grass. It is a little blurry but I do hope it helps. If it does not, feel free to message me.

Thank you very much! That was what I thought I did, but something must have been different cause it works now. Again, thanks, I can't wait to see what else comes to this mod in the future!

No problem. I am aiming for a late 2014 release date on the next patch.
