Aliens CM is not the burner, it is not very good as we all know. okay what not so it is great, the graphics in the game. Unfortunately, we think you can not do much about it! But you can use this mod or using this modified data of the game are the following things better. - DirectX 10 is enabled -Better light thanks to DX10 Realistic light-shadow effects lamps. - Weapons reflect better. - Realistic muzzle flash. Fewer problems with Nvidia 3d 3d mode (MAY :) - RAM usage is better for graphics (textures) light animations texture memory load times of textures and shadows. - Game will load faster. - Better Bloom - MSAA ON - Play better with the controller better AIM is active.

my game crashes as soon as it says sega logo.... anything? this is happening after i installed both

if you still have some problem (hang on sega logo), you must change line bUseMaxQualityMode=true to bUseMaxQualityMode=False in [SystemSettings]

DirectX11 WORK! So must change file PecanEngine.ini in C:\Users\USER_NAME\Documents\My Games\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\Config , open file PecanEngine.ini with notepad, press CTRL+F, find [SystemSettings], add new line "AllowD3D10=false" before AllowD3D11=True, change next lines "CompositeDynamicLights=True" , "UseHighQualityBloom=False" , "MaxMultisamples=4" , save and run game!

Oh, yeah, before, you must change folder name, name binares to name binaries in folder "aliensDX11 Final".

I previous used the first Dx10 version, that worked great. I then tried the Dx11 Beta, it worked fine once, but next time the game would crash on startup. Eventually I ended up resinstalling the game from the disc to fix it (I have retail version so at least I don't have to download it).

Then I saw you had released Dx11 Final version, tried that, discovered that the Binaries folder has been misspelt as "binares". I fixed that but the game crashes on startup immediately. I'm now reinstalling it from the disc again.

Ah, looks like you named that folder "binares" intentionally, since it is the same in the dx10 version as well. :) Dx10 version worked fine first time, but second time it caused game to crash during the intro movies. I've gone back to using the first version of dx10 since that worked OK for me.

I don't know about other people, but i like that game, its like an alternative ending of the Aliens movie, new story with new kind of alien creatures.
Well, as for the graphics, the company of the game should made the graphics like the game Aliens vs Predator of 2010 or better, but still a true gamer would not say that this game sucks because of the graphics since there are more awesome games with very old graphics, its all about the gameplay! ;)

Thing is, it isnt a alternative ending. Everything that happened in the game is officially considered 'canon' in the aliens universe now.
