Aliens CM is not the burner, it is not very good as we all know. okay what not so it is great, the graphics in the game. Unfortunately, we think you can not do much about it! But you can use this mod or using this modified data of the game are the following things better. - DirectX 10 is enabled -Better light thanks to DX10 Realistic light-shadow effects lamps. - Weapons reflect better. - Realistic muzzle flash. Fewer problems with Nvidia 3d 3d mode (MAY :) - RAM usage is better for graphics (textures) light animations texture memory load times of textures and shadows. - Game will load faster. - Better Bloom - MSAA ON - Play better with the controller better AIM is active.

Sonst würde mein SGSSAA nicht greifen weil ich das über AA-bits erzwinge !

Also komme ich zum schluss das Dx11 nicht an sein kann.

in der exe gibts nur 9er rendercalls, da ist es völlig belanglos ob du nun dx10 renderer zulässt oder dx11...

it's totally wrong that this game can run dx10 or even dx11 in this state. the game-exe is just doing dx9 rendercalls (haev a look if you want), so it doesn't matter what you'll write into the ini-files.. dx10 or even dx11 won't work. its dx9, get over it.

so sad that most of the newspages featuring this mod doesnt have a clue or even proof it before releasing such bs.

Es sind halt nur besser Lichte/Schatten Effekt !
Weil wenn es so wäre würde bei mir keinen AA mehr gehen.
Da ich AA (SGSSAA) über Custom AA-Bits erzwinge ! Und die AA-Bits nur unter Dx9 gehen und nicht unter Dx10 oder höher.

Dann würde ich gerne wissen, ob du die inis (im user verzeichnis) selbst anpasst!?, zur zeit habe ich (mit deinem mod) probleme in der comabt.ini meine grafikkarte einzutragen und ich kann den gamma wert nicht ändern (ohne abstürtze) ist mit alles zu dunkel auf meiner kiste

zur zeit benutze ich die ini aus dem thread hier (kennste bestimmt aus dem steam forum "ACM custom settings.. (v1.5c")

aber ich weiß halt nicht ob sich das mit deinem mod beist

danke für eine info :)

you can always try to set the files to read-only. If steam tries to replace/rewrite some of the files to the originals.

Make a backup of the original directories before overwriting and uncheck automatic updates through steam.

Maybe works :P

well... can confirm that issue with crash on startup, seems to be some sort of conflict or something with the settings in My Games\Aliens Colonial Marines\ Directory.

If you delete that directory before each start-up you can play with the mod.

no problems, well. Do not delete the game directory located C:\program (86)\Steam..etc..

However you can delete the entire game directory located in C:\User\My Documents\My Games\Aliens Colonial Marines, As it is the location of your settings files.

However you need to reset your video-options ingame for each time aswell :/ thats the fallback :)

The error lies within the settings in the "My Games" folder, deleting the "\Aliens Colonial Marines" folder within "\My Games" will make the game start with the mod, however the folder must be deleted the next time you start up the game as it recreates on start-up...

If anyone is getting crashing with full graphic settings and 1920x1080 the game crashes at the startup movie. This can happen at the moment because it is still in beta. To solve the problem you just have to delete the acm.exe and repair steam and can then install the new mod.

bei mir ist das irgendwie komisch ... ich kann das spiel zwar starten, doch wenn ich dann im spiel bin ist es zu anfang ganz kurz dunkler und nach einem bruchteil einer sekunde sieht dann die szene wieder wie default aus. was kann das sein ?
