Description

This is same as v1.2, but also replaces Mk2 Pulse Rifle model with Mk1. It's only visual change. Made it by replacing Mk2 mesh with mesh from Hudson's PR and removing Hudcon's decals. (On Hudson's PR also unfortunatly). So you have Mk1 Auto vrom start, and Mk1 Burst with Hudson's.


It's goal is to make game more Survival and less COD like. It makes Aliens mele and acid attaks twice (x2) stronger but it's about x2 - x3 times easier to shoot them down.
So it's like who spot who first.) If you can hit Alien - your weapon will do the work, but if Alien gets to you - you are a dead man.
Also NPCs now CAN kill an Alien, they still need much more time than you to shoot it, but if you are out of ammo or anything - you now can count on your fellow marines a bit more.Due to this changes it MAY be a bit easier to kill Aliens on open spaces, but it's how it would in real life/movie. Maybe GBX will tweak their AI and they will be even more dengerose.Changes:Mk2 Pulse Rifle's mesh have been replaced with Mk1 mesh from Hudson's PR with removed decals (Hudson's marks).
But to do that I also was have to remove decals from Hudson's rifle. So you have Automated version Mk1 from start, and Burst fire version with Hudson's.Weapons:
1.PulsRifle damage x1.455, rate of fire 900, magazine size 95, max ammo caried 380 (4 magazines)
2.Pump ShotGun damage x1.43
3.Smart Gun damage x1.57, rate of fire 1200
4.Sentry Gun damage x1.5, rate of fire 1100
5.Auto Shotgun damage x1.6
6.Submachine gun damage x1.4
7.Battle Rifle damage x1.5
8.Assault Rifle damage x1.43
9.Plasma Rifle damage x1.52
10.Service pistol damage x1.57
11.Battle pistol damage x1.512.All legendary weapons damage about x1.5 All NPC damage are 0.15 of Player's damage. Enemyes and Friendlyes are equal.Aliens:
1.Lurker mele damage x3
2.Soldier mele damage x3
3.Spitter acid damage x3
Instructions:1.Remove (BACKUP!!!!) PecanGame.upk and PecanGame.upk.uncompressed_sizeĀ  files from Steam\steamapps\common\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\CookedPCConsole2.Copy PecanGame.upk from archive to Steam\steamapps\common\Aliens Colonial Marines\PecanGame\CookedPCConsole3.Start game. without PecanGame.upk.uncompressed_size game will recognize uncompressed moded upk normally.

I downloaded this mod, but when I replaced the pecan game files, the game crashed at start up (after the sega logo). Is there any way to fix this?

You need updated version (4gb patch) of the game and don't forget to remove pecangame.upk.uncompressed_size. That must help.
