A tool to extract textures from Alien Isolation - created by Cra0kalo and modified by MattFiler.
To use this tool, just copy the .exe file into your Alien Isolation "/DATA/ENV/" folder and run it.
Once it's completed (it will take a while) you will have a folder called "CONVERTED" which contains all of the game's textures you extracted.

I am also having the same issue with the images being all back in photoshop cs6. Anyone have any tips, hints or tricks to solve this? Thanks! - Phil

".tga.dds."? And if remove ".dds"-extens. or ".tga"-extens. it doesnt work. I Need Help :)
Looks like i`ve got something :):
- *.info - file: use Notepad to see Info. For exmp.: gobo_android_eyes_01.info - file can be opened by the notepad editor. And it contains the following information:
TextureInfo
{
TexPath: gobo\gobo_android_eyes_01.tga
Width: 256
Height: 256
ChunkSizeA: 87376
ChunkSizeB: 87376
TexHeader
{
magic4:tex4
DXGI_FORMAT:DXGI_FORMAT_BC7_UNORM
unk2:87376
texchunkSize:21840
varSlotSub:128
varSlot:128
varSlot2:1
width:256
height:256
unk6_a:1
unk7:458758
unk8:1
unk9:134217728
unk10:29440
unk11:0
}
}
If you change the file extension and if you try to open the file in any editor, then in any case an error occurs. A converter is needed.
SOLUTION: Nvidia.ru
REMEMBER: A converter is needed or 3DsMax\PhotoShop Plugin.
And here we go: Github.com
