Hello again, dear players and fans of Silent Hill games. We are planning to release our game, Alchemilla, as soon as possible. It will be end of December or first days of January, but we will try to bring it to you BEFORE 2015.

There are still quite a lot work to do especially with testing bugs and etc. We want to polish all things for you comfortable play.

It was REALLY hard to accept that fact that game WOULD NOT include: inventory system, melee or fire combat system, NPC`s interactions. (cause we cant find guys who could work with that kind of stuff seriosly and steadely)

This game is just a quest/hidden object (adventure type based game) in Silent Hill universe.

This mod was absolutely fantastic! It definitely felt like a new perspective in the same Silent Hill universe. The puzzles were also quite fun and interesting. Keep up the amazing job! I can't wait to see more!!

I got to the part with the hooks and I have hanged all the toys in the right place, the protaganist says he heard something and there is a clickling sound but I am stuck at this part and not sure were to go.

Puzzles were interesting and required some considerable effort to accomplish (lack of inventory and map made it more challenging). I'm really looking forward to see the whole story surrounding those puzzles and notes, unwrap. So far they intrigued me.

Graphics are crisp and realistic, just like in SH2 and SH3, which is a very good thing. Lighting was good too, though corridors maybe to bright for my taste, but all in all it's good. Most of the rooms are very detailed, all of them has some kind of unique theme, and really good lighting.

Sound was okay. It's good that u use classic SH sounds of doors opening, pick ups etc. Though, ambient track is lacking some uniqueness, to much of the same is repeated in some places.

And finally ending of the demo was mind blowing(in a good way). It made me fully immerse in to the idea what this is a SH game, and what real nasty things are gonna go down.

I was watching this mod for a while now, and by the screenshots you've shown us, I was anticipating this first-person take on the world of Silent Hill to really engross me and soak me in its atmosphere.

You guys have nailed the art aspect. I really do like the textures and custom models you've done, but then I have seen that there are assets of Half-Life 2 being used, which almost immediately sucked me out of the atmosphere. I'm not sure if any of you mentioned you'd be using custom assets 100%, but the presence of these HL2 models remind me that this is a Half-Life 2 mod, and that is definitely not what I want to come to expect when playing this game. The HUD and sprint bar did not help at all either. I do not want to feel like I'm playing a mod of HL2 - the authenticity of the Silent Hill atmosphere was compromised a bit.

I also want to comment on sound, or more specifically music. In almost every level, there is ambience or music. While ambience can be very important, the fact that it is overused in the areas in the demo also damages the Silent Hill atmosphere (almost every room in the apartments had the same ambience). SH is all about subtlety, and one should really keep that in mind when trying to capture that atmosphere.

Sorry that I'm being really picky, I was just a little disappointed is all. I know this is a demo and you guys mentioned you don't have a programmer, but please consider finding one. Keep doing what you're doing, and I'll keeping watching until the final release.

Yeah, sometimes it's good to have no music at all in the rooms, SH did that to. I like the music, but something is lacking, I don't know.. The atmosphere is great indeed, but I also think that no HL assets should be used. There's the occasional bug, but I am sure that everything will get polished in the eventual release. Also, some minor annoyances: aux power when running, suit zoom, no reflections... And maybe that there's no map or inventory. It's not really annoying, but it's a part of SH :). But I think you will add that in the future right? Than you can also design puzzles where you combine stuff and so on. Oh, and remove the option to save/quick save everywhere! That was also in the PC version of like SH2, never understood why they did that, breaks the immersion!
