Welcome to the Age of Empires III Improvement Patch! This mod is an unlimited-population + better units mod. It lets you have unlimited outposts, town centers, ships, and settlers. Outposts cost A LOT less, and there are some over powered units. Pike-men are now useful, with a great 30 melee damage. An army of 50 of them will wipe out an enemy town without losing more then 10 men. This mod will work for Age of Empires III and both expansion packs. Frigates can hold as many troops as you want. Monitors long range attack will destroy anything in its path. This mod also includes: Custom names for ALL British and French ships 40 Cards in your Shipment deck Unlimited shipments with any card Unlimited Forts Unlimited Factories 15 fishing boats per whale 20 settlers per plantation and mill

It is 2 weeks from the Improvement Patch's 2nd birthday. I wanted to push the long awaited version 4 on March 8th, but I have fallen behind schedule. I will have an update on what I expect to have out this year on March 8th. I thank each and every one of you who have contributed to this mod. Whether it was suggestions, bug reports, script help, or even visiting this page.

Hmmm, ill try to redownload and play when I can.

Right now my computer is on the fritz and wont let me playing anything but games from like Armor Games. I think the RAM is going bad or something.

The art, animation files and stuff thats new that just goes right in the data folder with everything else right?

Ive got a new computer but right now Windows and AOE are having a disagreement so it might not be until this weekend I actually try to get this and them working. Will let you know if I get it working or not.

Next update is scheduled for Friday April 5th.

This update will include:

2 New Artillery units (Sakers and Petards)
1 New air transport unit (Transport Balloon)
1 New ship (Ironclad)
Explorers can now train settlers and Transport Balloon

Enhanced shipments (50 units for the first Crossbow man and Skirmisher shipments. 50 French settlers from first shipment. 50 units for all French merc. [Will make 50 unit shipments for every empire soon]Frigate shipment gives 5 ships. First privateer shipment gives 5 boats. The units that cost money that have been listed here has been dropped!)

and much.. much.. MUCH more!

Sounds good! I just thought of something, I dont know if all the Euro nations have skirmishers (If not then opps), and I was thinking that maybe they could upgrade into the Colonial Militia or make it a researchable thing at the market and give them their own upgrades?

I did a little research and some things are better than the other so with the market idea (Or a similure research type thing?) players have the choice of which they want. Let me know what you think of this. Since they are nearly similure is somewhat why I thought of the upgrade to them.

And on another note what are the "Sakers"? Are they from the TAD campain?

Can't wait to see more of this mod =D

Sakers are Heavy Horse Cannons (I am considering changing the name to Heavy Horse Cannons)

I have tried working on the colonial militia for TAD so you can get them without revolting. So far that doesn't work (you can now make them from barracks when you revolt)

I forgot to say this, but make sure the first thing you build is a market. It gives 30,000 xp when you make one. The only problem right now is it takes a good hour to an hour and a half to make one. I am trying to fix that before I release the new update.

One thing: the new update will not be for TAD, but for the original age of empires III (for now)

TAD will allow you to build gatling guns without revolting (for Euro empires and the Iroquois)

Oh ok. And I didnt know how hard it would be so, thought id ask. And the market thing is very interesting I like it, makes sense really the XP bonus.

Markets take only about 30-40 seconds to build now and still give 30,000 xp
