Afraid of Monsters

Your name is David Leatherhoff, and you're addicted to a new painkiller from a company unknown.
They keep coming, and you can't stop taking them.
Lately you have started to experience illusions, dreams picking at your deepest and darkest fears.
Finally, you go to the Hospital, seeking help. First, however, you make a stop into the bathroom, where another bottle of pills awaits you, standing out like a beacon in the night in your depraved eyes.
When will it all stop?

Afraid of Monsters, a Survival Horror mod, has been released for Half Life one. Now, don’t let the “Half Life 1” part throw you off, AOM is one trip that no mod has yet to deliver with Source. how do you get godmode to work? i loved the mod but i seriously spent hours and hours in the hospital running out of health and batteries pretty much sitting in the dark waiting to die, i can normally get through just about anything but this kind of pushes me past my conceivable limit
When a zombie (the weakest creature) hits you, you lose 20 HP. When you're surrounded by three, you're history, hence godmode.
not true, once i was cornered by 4 with no gun and i made it out with 5 hp lol (on normal mode)
Why do people cheat? The mod isn't that hard really. =/
I just finished the mod, awesome ending, great soundtrack. I quite enjoyed it I must say. Sometimes you have to "puzzle around" to look for the exit.
I have some remarks though: there's not enough health and ammo in some maps (I had to play the first three maps with GODmode and with my KNIFE).
Overall: 8/10 (I'm gonna play the Director's Cut now which I see is VERY larger than this one :D )
at the begining where you end up in that room with all those colored dots i keep falling into a pit, anybody know what to do there?

It works fine with Steam. Great mod! Haven't finished yet, but I almost fell off my seat a couple of times :D those eerie sounds the entire time and when you least expect it...*BLAM*...a creature in front of you.

This is one of the best half-life mods I'v played, esp the directors cut version.
