It has been months since our last major update, so allow me to begin by saying happy new year! We're only 28 (at the time of writing this) days late!
New years resolution breaking fun aside, it's that time of year again where exams and coursework have locked down our free time along with the RA3: Paradox Apocalypse minimod. However, exams are over and we can launch straight back into work!
All five factions now have naval art assets rigged and ingame, including Orange Star which has undergone scale and model tweaks since our last public beta! We're still working on getting them to destroy things in various ways, however here are some screenshots!
Seafaring aside, with the navy and land vehicles done, we can resume working on aircraft! We still have the Orange Star air-force from last year (although they have gone through a number of tweaks) and our Blue Moon aircraft from December last year. This week has seen Black Hole take to the skies in what can only be described as weaponised Lego. Expect Green Earth and Yellow Comet to go airborne in the weeks to come!
So we're down to 8 remaining aircraft in total! After those are done we shall resume working on infantry, mechs and vehicle pilots. We already have our Black Hole dudes from the render we posted a few months ago, Orange Star have their share of infantry and Yellow Comet have some guys too, however we have yet to start on the Green Earth and Blue Moon cannon-fodder anti-air fodder infantry. Of those we already have, Orange Star and Yellow Comet need rerigging and the whole lot need reanimating until we get it right! Even if they are low poly and have hands you would expect from a video game made in 1999, we still have to have some quality control.

Finally we have our first skirmish map that doubles up as a 1v1 and a 2v2! Hopefully we can bring some new videos of some games in the near future! As always you can follow us on Facebook for extra updates and alerts if we will be playing some matches or generally podcasting on our livestream channel!
Oh and we made HQs too.

We have reached a point now where we have a playable product and need community feedback for us to continue. Take part in our open beta today and help...
You got to be kidding me, is this dead? how come? :(
See my posts below. RA3 is an awful game to mod.
Quick addendum to anyone checking up on this mod, again sorry for the massive loss. However, I am currently involved in making an android turn based simple tactics game with a cartoony overtone.
So here's the lowdown, all of the art assets have been finished and have been that way for about 9 months now.
But thanks to consistent problems with making fluid gameplay and a generally nice looking environment we have constantly stalled and had to rework our approach. We've experimented with everything from skyboxes to top down perspectives to try to make the game feel like the same old RA3 with a new paint job.
This combined with the lack of participation in our age old betas and the uncertainty over RA3 servers pretty much gives us no choice but to let it rest.
It sucks, but we're working on an indie game now. We need the experience and means to support ourselves. Frontline wasn't a waste of time by any means, everything we've learned can be used to make fewer mistakes and more amazing content in the future.
If you are part of an Advance Wars reboot or remake project (with any hope of succeeding) and wish to discuss using our assets, please use the address below.

To finish, when this started, a forum post said something a long the lines of "this will probably die before it is finished". Correctamundo, mind you the IP also seems to be in this state.
Scratch that just PM me.
I can't get this mod to show up in the game browser. Can someone help me out?
