This game, based on the graphic engine of arch-known DOOM, gives us an opportunity to experience in the first person as Dwayne Hicks, the rescue mission of settlers from Hadley's Hope as occurred in the film by James Cameron: Aliens return. The game, for the moment consists of only a demo with a couple of detailed and claustrofóbicas missions (LV-426 and Defence Orbital) that give us a few hours of game packed with action and suspense worthy of the movies. While the game is inspired by the films also will provide missions beyond them, a dash worthy of such fame but hopefully you will enjoy it. This was created by Oriol Comerma (Deimos Anomaly).

Creators of Aliens: Colonial Marines (TC) and Aliens: The Ultimate Doom (TC) merge projects to create the ultimate fan-made 2.5D Aliens shooter.

I am also editing the old xenosprites from ACM, to be a new version of the Runner. It works out well, because the Runner, is larger than the warrior and drone.

Congratulations, you both can make a true Aliens title that we deserve. I've played both & each have its amazing moments, GFX & authenticity. Where triple A drops the balls and ruins a franchise, the modding world can do it justice. Keep it coming!

Try making a HUD and make the weapons specialized. I don't want to carry around five versions of the same weapon.

This is so awesome! All I ask is to please make some melee moves (Kicks, knives, punches etc.) or have the pistol have infinite ammo so I can have a chance ^_^ thank you.

This merger is GREAT news!

My only request is that ammo/flares/first aid kits, be made more plentiful, and at logical locations. Sensible locations would be: corpses of fallen comrades, lockers and storage containers. What would also be sensible is if we occasionally found these items accidentally dropped on the floor - this would be quite believable because of the effects of terror on those who didn't mean to drop their magazine but did so anyway. A small "loot drop" could be found wherever a large pool of blood is found on the floor. That pool of blood shows us where a marine was slain. His body? Moved elsewhere and it's now being used to grow more Aliens.

If possible, it'd be cool to have a certain breed of these Aliens being capable of running on walls and ceilings.

One other proposal in regards to possible enemies...

If you're working on customizing campaigns, why not have some human against human encounters?

Perhaps at some point a base or spacecraft the player is on gets "rescued," ala Half-Life (only better!). It turns out the "good" guys aren't all good, and after the player kills a bunch of them, combat androids are deployed against him. They'd look mostly human, only with creepy glowing eyes.

Mixing up the nature of the encounters would help ensure some variety.

The thought just struck how COOL it would be if there was a percentage chance that portions of a slain android could KEEP TRYING TO KILL THE PLAYER.

They are, after all, incredibly durable. An arm that's shot off would lie dormant, as if it's dead. When the player, or another marine who is an ally of the player, gets close enough, the arm will attempt to latch onto an ankle, and start crushing it. If the limb gets damaged enough, the player or a "good guy" marine will limp slowly till fully healed.

Androids shot in half at the waist could attack more aggressively and do more damage. Perhaps some of them would be "stunned," and seem dead for a randomized amount of time. The next time the player or an ally goes by, it would suddenly become activated and could crawl across the floor using its arms. Perhaps a percentage of them would pull out a pistol and be able to use it as well (it wouldn't be very accurate due to the damage it's sustained).

Oh yeah! The uncertainty and creep out factor would be huge!
