Many players have noticed an annoying 'feature' in Brotherhood where the top half of your screen gets whiter the more your camera pans toward the ground. Depending on your screen's contrast settings, this can be either barely noticeable, or extremely noticeable and distracting. For example, I could barely notice it on my TV with AC:B on a PS3, but on a monitor and PC it is a different story.
You also may have noticed that this annoying gradient overlay completely disappears when Ezio is about to get desynchronized. This happens, for example, when you're moving too far away from your mission objective.
This mod will permanently disable the white gradient overlay. You just have to plop the contents of the archive for the right version of AC:B into your installation folder. Note that if you have a Steam or Uplay overlay enabled, it will make your game crash.

i wish this existed for assassin's creed 3 remastered. they added it back for whatever reason :/
This mod doesn't work alongside Reshade because of d3d9.dll. Is there a way to circumvent that?
Fortunately, there is. Simply rename ReShade's d3d9.dll to dxgi.dll and then install the White Gradient Fix as usual. That's it :)
