AcadmemyCraft is a MinecraftForge SSP/SMP mod that adds the ways to use super abilities in Minecraft. Acquire your ability in Ability Developer and begin your journey as a ESPer! The inspiration of the mod comes from the anime To Aru Kagaku No Railgun(とある科学の超電磁砲), and you will see that many superabilities that appear in this anime implemented, including Electro Master, Meltdowner, and Teleporter... The mod is currently in beta phase and have released 3 beta versions. We are working hard on the formal release of AcademyCraft and you might be able to see it in a few month!
This mod is quite possibly the best I've ever played, and has the potential to become even greater.
The skills are well thought out, balanced, and fun to use, and there's enough of them to keep me entertained, but still not be overwhelming.
The leveling system is unique, and sets it well apart from other mods that attempt to turn minecraft into a hack and slash, and the combination of needing XP and using your ability forces you to actually use your ability productively, rather than just stand at a mob farmer, or just endlessly right clicking.
It's not without its problems, dupe glitches, slight balancing issues, a lack of different abilities, and the restriction of only containing abilities shown in the Anime. Most of these do feel temporary however, and are likely to be fixed up in later versions.
As a lover of Minecraft, mods, super powers and A Certain Scientific Railgun/Magical Index, I can firmly say that this mod has earned its ten.
