A full scale submod for Absolute Corruption 2.4 that enhances the original with improved AI, better models and graphics, UGC compatibility, and more features and content. You MUST have Absolute Corruption Mod 2.4 installed (and preferably backed up) before installing this add-on. I will be listening to feedback and making adjustments.

Looking good. If you want to use my Lucrehulk by chance, feel free to.

Thanks, Jeroenimo! I might take you up on that at a future date. But for now, I've already decided that If I am going to start adding super sharp high-def stuff, then it's going to have to be an "all or nothing" proposition. That is, I am going to wait until I can line up a high-def replacement for all or most of the units currently in the mod before I start to introduce any one of them. Otherwise, the new ones will look oddly out of place. And since I'm no modeller, a lot of permissions and new releases will have to line up just right before I can make that dream a reality. But thanks for the offer, for sure!

Very smart. Unified art style is more important than a fancy ship here or there.

Are you planning on increasing the quality of the planets, not just the starmaps?

I assume you mean the planetary models and textures? The planet textures have already been upgraded with some materials from a texture pack that was released by The Farseer some time ago. They aren't massive improvements, but most of them are clearly better than the stock assets.

Description

Here, you can see another model upgrade. The old ACM 2.4 Lucrehulk vs. the "newer" version for Absolute Chaos 2.0, which is in fact another old EvilleJedi model. While it isn't on a par with one of Jeroenimo's jaw droppers, it's definitely a big improvement over the original! I have made the hardpoint layout and fire rate almost identical to the original for reasons of balance, but an extra targetable hangar has been added.
