"A Story of Madness" is a Half Life 2 Episode 2 mod inspired by Silent Hill games. This mod relies heavily on story and atmosphere. Creating a horrific atmosphere like Silent Hill games did is the main goal of this mod. You may call this an total conversion, since most of the content is new and mod has nearly no similarity with Half Life 2 story wise or gameplay wise.

Exactly. You have to move on but that deep dark space under your feet won't make things any easier for a disturbed mind. It's deep, a lot.
My mind plus Silent Hill inspiration plus Half Life 2 creates something like this :)

Yep, it was there but not just there. Actually all Silent Hill games have this kind of floors in some parts.
