BRUTAL!!!!!!
nice work especially on Helmet
This Armor!
Awesome, love the Third Age Total War design! :D
Which this is not
Indeed, nothing from the Third Age design here haha. It is influenced from Taro_M's addon for Third Age though, very prevalent in most new submods.
Yea what i kinda was referring too :P
Thought so, not everyone is aware of the difference though :)
Beautiful rendition and vision for these guys, perfect blend of influences from Taro, film Gondor armour, possible italian influences and damn does it work!
Outstanding, its so visually great i dont think a weta vision would compare, this is so perfect to me aha, this should really cement the fact that this mod is heading to great places if it coninues like this :D
Hey, nice work! I feel that this helmeth and the one from Hirluin the Fair look very Spartan-ish with the cheeks. Was it intended?
This and the Pinnath Gelin armour are based directly on Weta designs, I didn't have any Greek inspiration in mind. No idea if Weta did though :p
Ok thanks!
:O This looks so epic!
My new favorite, haha. Keep up the amazing work :)
Helmet is so sexy, but i miss TLDs Swan on chesplate :) Its great, and i must tell that color (blue and white) are looking a bit dead :)
TLD just had tabards, right? Either way adding some kind of swan emblem to the chestplate is possible, along with playing with the colours some more.
Ooh colour variants with the tabard would be nice, some brighter blues and some darker ones always help for variation, not necessary but would be great
Let me know, if you want some constructive criticism on your work.
Of course, it is always appreciated:)
I'll send you a pm
Fkin awesome
Absolutely Gorgeous!!!
Looks SWEET!
Looking good! Can't wait for the release!
omg they look absolutely fantastic, love it!
They look so damn beautiful :) And im hoping for mor Dol-Amroth content, more armours and other stuff
There will be 2 more elites for DA, the foot knight(will be similar to Swan Knight) and Mariner Pikemen, who will have a different design entirely. As well as all the mid tier units too :)
For the the near future, not sure if any Dol Amroth stuff will be completed.
The future looks good...why isn't the future now?
Awesome as usual, but if you take suggestions I'd add a slit to the back of the tabbard/skirt, since the Swan Knights are primarily cavalry, the slit would help while mounting and riding a horse. Keep up with the excellent work.
I tried adding a slit in the back when making this, it just threw off the look I was aiming for. So this is something I don't think I will change.
Okay, thanks so much for replying.
I prefear the old concept arts desings. Are going to be diferent desings of armor for the same unit type? For example, different swan knight armours but with the same stats.
Are you referring to Moddb.com , or something else?
There may be slight variations to the armours, all with the same stats. But for the most part staying with the Gondorian feel with armours being the same for the same unit.
Amroth for Gondor!
Nice work as usual, keep up the awesome work.
Will you make Dol Amroth Elite units giving other nearby units morale or something like that ?
Maybe their helmet gives other units around 10 morale ?
I don't think so. No idea how the morale system will be changeable. However, I think we will be able to make officers be able to do this. So the Dol Amroth lords will have officers(dressed similar to Swan Knights) who will increase morale.
this is why i love this franchise, the game's not even out yet and you already have a major overhaul mod
It’s like the swan Knights from games workshop in fact.
Good
From the perspective of just aesthetics, it looks quite awesome I must say. Since you're going for the movie look, the plate armor fits fine.
From a point of practicality if this armor would be real, it would be borderline useless. But I'm guessing that doesn't matter.
Well this is old, so criticism would be better placed against: Moddb.com
