Kingdoms of Arda is a Singleplayer & Multiplayer total conversion of Mount & Blade II Bannerlord, that brings the world of Tolkien into the game. This includes: characters, locations, weapons etc. from The Lord of the Rings, The Hobbit, Silmarillion and other works by Tolkien and media made for his universe.
Great job mate.
I've got 2 bits of feedback though (not that I could do anything better). Why is the chestplate so convex/pidgeon chest-y and those two lines that go from the armpit to the middle of the chest look a bit too pronounced.
Thanks for the feedback:) I will look into the chest plate more.
After that comment I can never look at the gondor armour in general and not think of pigeons wth
I think it's more realistic like that. It would do a much better job at making stabs and arrows glance off the breastplate more
T-34
Real plate armor was often much more convex than this both for the purposes of deflecting slashes and stabs, but also because if the armor stuck out a good distance it could absorb even hits from maces as the armor would crush but not actually touch the person wearing it so that much less force would be transferred into the person wearing it.
My goodness you guys never cease to amaze. Beautiful work as always.
There will be some new things posted instead of just updated models^
I think that it's perfect :D
It's perfect, I never have seen a better model in any other game or mod and I , Even better than the gondorian armour in the Rise of Mordor mod for total war atilla so far. The only armor from a mod that is at the same level as this armor, are the gondorian armors of the Gondorian Armor pack for skyrim.
Thanks! The MERP Gondor armour was used as inspiration for this.
this mod makes me tear up with joy.
