It may be edited depending on what stat changes that shadow makes to the ships mostly with the aggressor and corvette ships as i gave those ships a big HP upgrade with researach to help balance out the 250 HP for the fighter and corvettes. Seriously 250 HP corvette? Anyways I also made it so you have to research Keepertech, Dreadnaughtech to unlock the upgrades for sajuuk.  Again stuff will be edited as time goes on. For now all you gotta do to get their research is to just play their race untill we can get subsystems that will work real well for the progenitors.
