We've recently received the donated materials from the Sands Of Time mod. Whisper2Me has created some really awesome ships and we'll showcase a few of them over the next couple of days. To start, we have this updated version of the Somtaaw Kuun-Lan Command Ship.

That is not the Kuun-lan no way in hell type in homeworld cataclysm with kuun-lan beside it
Of course it's not the original Kuun-Laan, that's already been added to the HWU mod from the UHF mod for the classic Somtaaw team (along with all the other classic Somtaaw ships from cata), this is a new Kuun-Laan for a proposed different era (maybe leading up to HW2 or slightly after).
This design is based on my re-design of Kuun-Lan for the "Cataclysm 2nd" project and was modeled by members of the Relicnews forums (Of which Whisper2Me is a part of).
The redesign thread in question is on the Relicnews forums, under the title "[Project] Cataclysm 2nd"
Next time, I would have appreciated this fact communicated when the model is posted.
Sorry Norse, I had no idea - the ship just came with the donation of the SOT mod to HWU. I will give it more proper credits in the mod as well.
I recently found this ship in the Complex mod. Just wonder i f they got it too from where you guys got it
ooh okay umm i got the UHF 0.0.3 ive built the kuun-lan put the siege cannon on but it wont fire why is that i buit two somtaaw command ships one as the kuun-lan and one as Faal-corum the siege cannons wont fire
oh btw when you make the final mod of UHF [0.0.4] try and get the bentusi fighters and everything to fire and add every ship from somtaaw i was disappointed that the processor wasnt in but still the UHF mod is great
Yeah, sorry, UHF was always a work in progress, I released it early every time just so people wouldn't have to wait any longer but things like that seige cannon didn't work, the Bentusi fighters should fire just fine, even though their weapons power reads 0, and they are quite strong. As for the processor, I didn't even have the model converted when I put out 0.0.3 (if I remember right). Rest assured though, you'll be able to play it now, MatthCoFreak has recently added the dockpaths to it along with a lot of fixes to the rest of the Somtaaw fleet. All these changes will be available to play in the next alpha release of HWU, probably in a few days, I'll make a little update to let everyone know.

when im the kushan side where has all the ships like somtaaw and yeah i get this bug with the kushan carrier and the somtaaw dreadnought it goes from my teams colour [ Gunmetal grey ] tp this pinkish colour and its extremly dark whys that o_0
oh yeah im turnin 14 any good suggestions wat games my parents should get me

That's right, I forgot I had it setup as an Ion Cannon, with luck MatthCoFreak can hook up some more appropriate FX/SFX soon.
Please send me a screenshot if this is a persistent problem, I've never had anyone tell me about this particular error, which makes me think it might be specific to your system. (This comment is supposed to be in response to the team color bug taiidanhunter mentioned).
If this ship is the successor of the Kuun-lan, how about giving it a slightly different name like "Spirit of Kuun-Lan"?
If i remember correctly it was the Kuun-Lan Accendent or something like that named by the maker of the model
Yeah that was the original Kun-Lan's full name.
