I just found a program called Tunngle that is Far better compared to hamachi, most games have their own lobby and have a max of 255 people in them each so you dont need to worry about issues in like hamachi where people have to sign up for each server. YOu just download the program, create an account, log in and find the game you wanna play.
Tunngle.net
yeah anyone using hamachi switch to this :P
I will definitely use this!!!
You're still on XP?!
XP ftw
You're still on Windows? lol
lolwut?
what other operating system do you have in mind...
Let's see, the other two big ones would be Macintosh and Linux, both of which are great... as long as you don't try to play games on them.
another so so VPN tool ? how secure it is? opensource (i see not)?
passed any security audit ?
i know Hamachi failed to pass some
Comodo VPN might be safer but again not everyone trust them either
the ultimate guy would be to use opensource VPN
e.g. use opensource lobby from opensource RTS Spring Springrts.com
From what I heard tunngle is becoming more and more one of the best tools in that matter.. Security seems high and there are already 1000 of people using it for different games.. Even games not listed in it can be played over tunngle you just have to sit in a random lobby with your friends and a network game should work fine.
Hamachi, Gameranger, Gamespy etc. are trash compared to this.
I don't see what's wrong with just using Gamespy...
