Yeah, the Mastodon i cool. But I think that the MMKII is cooler. :-)

No no, Mastodon will pown Mk2 by sheer numbers, something what Mk2 will never be capable of :P
The Mammoth MKII was state of the Art offensive weaponry, the Mastodon is weaker than the MKII as it lacks armour and powerful railgun systems. The Mammoth MKII will always be the best of GDI's walkers
About armor, i am not certainly sure, and I think Mammoth Tank Mk III. from CnC3 is stronger, as it also got 2 railguns, also got missile racks, can be easily produced and is highly armoured. And Mastodon is the strongest walker the GDI got, as there is not much difference between Mastodon and Mk2, only the railguns and "Tusk" cannons :) And Mastodon can be repaired, but Mk2 cant :P
The MKII can repair it self in Tiberium Essence and the Mammoth MKII and Mammoth tank have missile pods. Mastadon does suck. railguns pwn sonic shells and Mammoths do have more armor. Also a Mastadon can't repair while under attack.
You know, pointing on a mod version of Mk2 in CnC3 is not official :)
the mod Mammoth MKII in Essence, is how the Mammoth MKII really should be from the cutscenes in Tiberian Sun as it has its working chin mounted Machinegun, real Daul Railguns on its sides that can aim up and down and can aim to a certain degree to its sides but still needs to turn itself in order to fire at things at its sides and behind it and yes it does have rocket pods that hit ground and air like the Mammoth Tank, the Mastodon lacks 2 weapons as its missiles only fire at air, so the Mammoth MKII can over power the weaker Mastodon.
The Railguns on the Mammoth MKIII (Mammoth Tank) are weaker as they are upgrades for its normal cannons and had to make them smaller to fit on the smaller unit. As the Mammoth MKII is much larger, so its Railguns are bigger and stronger.
