Welcome to C&C Generals Zero Hour : "A GLOBAL CRISIS".

This mod brings Israel and Syria (from the popular MidEast Crisis total conversion mod made by Isotx, with their permission) with their full unique armies - into C&C Generals: Zero Hour expansion pack, with all of the original Zero Hour factions, campaigns and Generals challenge mission, BUT with some great new changes like realistic skins and models and some new units.

Available Factions:

Israel:
To counter their smaller numbers, Israel prefers high quality units over quantity, but their units  are very expensive.

Syria:
Syria relies on mass numbers of outdated but cheap and reliable Russian equipment and fortified positions.

USA:

- USA main faction.

- Air Force General.

- Superweapon General.

- Laser General.

GLA:
- GLA main faction.

- Toxin General.

- Demolition General.

- Stealth General.

China:
- China main faction.

- Tank General.

- Infantry General.

- Nuke General.

Boss General:
General Leang, the Chinese Boss General from the last Generals Challenge mission, is now unlocked and can be played as Human player side for Multiplayer and Skirmish games (No AI support except for the last Generals challenge mission). Some units of this General had been altered (it's a little surprise) so now there is a logical reason why she controls units from all the original factions (and even more...).

If you liked Mideast Crisis total conversion mod but you still wanted to play Zero Hour - Well, you don't have to choose anymore!

"A Global Crisis" is a mod for "C&C Generals: Zero Hour", created by "Abra" (me...) as a private initiative.

"A Global Crisis" adds Israel and Syria (originated from Isotx's MidEast Crisis total conversion mod, with their permission) right into C&C Generals: Zero Hour universe, with some great new changes in all factions, like realistic skins and models, some new units and few gameplay modifications.

"A Global Crisis" includes all of the original Zero Hour campaigns and Generals Challenge missions, as well as Skirmish maps for Multiplayer and Singleplayer games.

Full AI support in ALL Skirmish maps for ALL available factions (except for the Boss General which has AI support only for the last Generals Challenge mission).

"A Global Crisis" will be available through Mod DB and also through Crosus - Isotx's games and mods management system.

Modifications:
Some Zero Hour 3D models and textures had been replaced. for example: USA Crusader Tank model (Leopard) changed to M1A2 Abrams model (desert colors), GLA Scorpion Tank changed to T55 model, improved realistic infantry skins and so on.
New GLA units also replacing some old GLA units (for example: AT-14 missile Technical for stealth GLA General instead of Toxin Truck).

I have also modified the original MEC gameplay so most of the Israeli and Syrian units are now available without specializations. (Buying special technology now used mainly for reducing vehicles/infantry/aircrafts costs and for purchasing upgrades) and I've changed the Israeli infantry uniforms color to olive green (like the real ones are).

I have rebalanced the game so both Zero Hour and the Israeli/Syrian factions are more balanced (mainly increased health for Zero Hour units).

I thought that this would be an interesting piece of info about the MERKAVA tank. it is pretty much a British Centurion Tank turned backwards and the engine was put in the front it also has a hatch for crew evacuations. And the creators of it think that it would protect the crew even though the tank is destroyed. It also has a power to weight ratio of 14.28 hp per tonne, 120 mm high velocity gun, top speed is 34 mph and the range is 310 miles. it has a teledyne Turbo-Charged diesel Engine. It is also the only tank designed with input from active tank crews. It is also possibly the safest tank in the world! in the end it is complex and expensive so production is low.

Whether you're talking about the snipers version or the regular old version, I'm not gonna add this rifle to the Chinese infantry.
Because:
A. It's simply too old.
B. Most factions already have snipers so I want China to be different.
C. As I said, I won't add new units/models until the release. ;-)

Hey Abra from now on anything we both like in the PM's i send regarding the mod im gonna put it on this.

I had an idea about Coalition forces for the USA they would be an upgrade and would be cheaper and a bit weaker in attack and hitpoints but will be fast when you are being rushed or attack your enemy early

you would also be able to use them for attacks with rangers because USA trains Coalition forces to fight.

ive seen pictures and they wear some american looking uniforms but old helmets and AK-47's instead of M-16's

Oh… I thought that by 'Coalition' you meant NATO (USA, Canada, UK, France, Germany, Italy, Spain etc.) or the EU or something like that… :p
Anyhow, I'm not going to add any more faction to the mod, at-least for the first release.

BTW, you probably saw pictures of the new Iraqi army; they wear old US uniforms (6-color desert pattern) and old helmets, but they still use AK-47s.
