Home to the Duros species, Duro is a Core World planet. It was one of the many battlefields during the Clone Wars, most notably during Operation Durge's Lance (the CIS's push towards Coruscant. An effort led by General Grievous). Since Duro's surface is harsh, the world's population resides in repulsor platforms.
