The New Soviet Union (NSU), and the European - American Alliance (EAA) Will be sharing terran.
LOLUPDATER - Echelon Have been axed. And there WILL be something replacing them. Something that threatens the life every sentient being in existance. Something adapts, something that destroys, something that infects. This "something" will change the universe forever.
Primera and Segunda Arcane will be replacing Protoss

(now old) Story:
Millions of years ago, there was another intelligent race on Earth. They were called the Arcane. After the dawn of man, the Arcane interacted with the humans, mostly in the European area, helping them along. Little did they know they were paving the path for their own demise.
About the time of the Roman Empire lived strong, the robotic Echelons (Division Delta) came to finish off the Arcane after a long, bloody war. They won. After they left, what little Arcane were left, buried themselves deep in the depths of Earth. There, they dwelled, their population only in the thousands.
Thousands of years later, in the year 2628 AD, the EAA recovered ancient documents in Spain. They told of a god-like superace called the Arcane. In the year 2630, stories were uncovered telling about a war between two races. At the end of one document, it said the location the remaining Arcane buried themselves. Described as the "Great Plain of Ice" European and American scientists found this to be Antarctica. The EAA pulled a huge, top secret operation together to make contact with the Arcane. In the year 2635, contact was made. And, oh did it not go well. The one they found, immedietly attacked them, killing 8 lab researchers. Brfore they killed it, he said in Spanish: " By revealing us, you have successfully purged us all into oblivion! Give it a few months, and they will all be here!"
The NSU, intercepting radio transmissions, declared war on the EAA in 2636.

Im sure many of you are thinking "Hey, your the one who dumped Factions Of War! How can we trust you with this?" Yes, I am, but this time, we have 3(!) people working on this. So, for whatever reason I cant work on this, Shadowoscar and Diliverance will finish it off.

The Virus:
The virus is a 100% biological race. Now, your thinking, "Wow, another zerg! Just what we need..." No, its not another zerg. This race is made of intelligent bacteria, and infects all living things, converting them into their own. The Virus is capable of infecting any unit from another race. Because the virus is too small to form its own combat units, it relies on infecting Arcane and Human things. The Virus also has a small arsenal of ancient, derelict technology.
Backstory:
2636, 8 months into the Human-Arcane war.
An EAA fleet consisting of 4 Beam Frigates, and 2 Destroyers had left Earth for their outpost on the Moon. 10 hours after launch, an object was detected on their scanners. 3 salvage units were launched, and brought the object back to the lead destroyer. The object was shaped like a triangle, with an odd, reddish glow on its outer layer. Though, that was all that they ever got to learn about the thing, for about one minute after they brought the object in, everyone in the hanger bay became infected.
The object began transmitting a signal, just as everyone in the hanger bay rushed into other sections of the ship. In a matter of minutes, 90% of the crew was infected, just leaving the Bridge left. Just as the Captain was about to initiate self destruct, all the power in the ship went down; life support on the bridge was gone, and so were the lives of the people there.
The infected destroyer started launching its infected missiles to the rest of the EAA fleet. Through these missiles, the rest of the fleet did too, become infected. The fleet was never seen, or heard from again.
In 2637, Arcane sensors picked up several objects inbound, coming in to the atmosphere extremely fast. Thousands of the things hit Earth everywhere. Because nobody knew what happened to the EAA fleet, nobody knew about the Virus. Outbreaks were everywhere, consuming every living thing it could infect. After 3 days, the Virus had an army of unbelievable size. They marched outward, on a crusade to destroy or assimilate all life.
By the way, the reddish stuff is the bacteria itself.

Is it a bacteria or a virus?
There is quite a difference between the two, a bacteria can live, move and reproduce on it's own, a virus only when it have infected a host cell.

It is a mix between the two, It can live on its own and reproduce, but it can also infect and leech off of its hosts.

Well, we have a new demo up, and awaiting authorization. Not as big as .4.9, but I does add quite a bit of things.
Ahhhh starcraft I will never het tired of playing this game thanks for this mod it looks awesome.
Well, its the Infected Virus factory, so it should look somewhat the same as the original.
The new factory, is that what it is going to look like. It's not very different from a normal one.
