Placing an emphasis on using the crossbow in a world loosely inspired by Fallout 3, 99 Bolts plunges you into an irradiated sniper mission.
Crawling through these buildings on your way to the Combine-controlled city of Avery will be slow and intense. The first part of the wasteland will feature the ruins of the city's University District, which was not claimed by the Combine when they took over in Avery.
Hey community: How do you guys feel about me using Left 4 Dead 2 foliage?
(Progress is at an all-time low here at 99 Bolts, but still occasionally ongoing. I have been working on a few smaller projects instead; it's all a part of the learning-how-to-mod process. If you are interested in seeing my progress on those projects, please visit my personal profile page here at Mod DB. Moddb.com)
I think it fits perfectly. :D Loving the new pics.
Looks good so far. Is that an antlion hill?
yes
Well, seeing as I don't have L4D2, and dont have the money for it, using the foliage doesnt seem to appeal to me, as I wouldnt be able to play the mod. I might, but there would be big red error messages everywhere.
I would include the used foliage in the mod, resolving that issue for non-L4D2 owners.
Looking great. I don't see an issue with L4D2 foliage if it's included for those that don't have it. I have it anyway, but if that would be resolved, not sure why anyone would mind.
I don't think anythings wrong with using L4D2 content. But those trees look off. That map looks very dry and arid, and those trees are covered in moss, it makes no sense.
In principle, there's nothing really wrong to have multiple dependencies on other games/mods from a programming standpoint, except to say that relying on so many different things that you don't have control over can get muddled if those assets should be changed/updated, or removed entirely. Aside from that...
