"Mideast Crisis 2"(MeC2) is a total conversion for "Command and Conquer 3: Tiberian Wars" by Isotx as the sequel to its "Command and Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour" conversion "Mideast Crisis". Isotx teamed up with Derelict Studios, in which the staff for MeC2 is largely composed out of core team members from past SAGE engine mods such as; Blitzkrieg 2, Halogen (now known as Asylum), Mideast Crisis and Rise of Rome.
MeC2 features 3 distinct factions; Israel Defense Forces, the Guardians of Islam and the UN Peacekeepers which you can play in both multiplayer and singleplayer spanning maps (and missions) from Beirut to Jerusalem.
MeC2's gameplay focuses on occupation warfare within cities using 3 types of resources; money (from occupation taxes), fuel (from oil derricks and gas stations) and special ammunition (from ammo crates). We're also bringing back secondary resources in the form of; embedded reporters, settlements and hacking.
Stay tuned in the upcoming weeks and months, we have a great deal of surprises and innovations to show.

Well this is just plain sexy, but then again, I would expect no less from smurf. =D
No fair!
I thought that answer to Cryptex's comment was pretty funny. I do understand that he was not sarcastic. lol
cryptex i dont think he was being sarcastic........
this mod would be veery wierd with the Conyard system, try to find out another way to make structures
Your sarcasm sucks, do you know that?
In fact "Guardians of Islam" is just a placeholder name while we actively finish tweaking our final name. Right now the work in progress name is; "SuperJihad #5 Death to America and Israel". While we understand that using a numeral character within the name may be controversial, we find that it adds significance and realism to the name that otherwise wouldn't exist.
Uhm, funny, since on our forums the major discussions were always players aiming the Syrian side was overpowered. And I have never seen the vulcan rip up the T-72 ...ever...
Check out our forums, in the MeC1 section you'll find how "overpowered" and "pro-Israeli" MeC1 was rofl
just awesome
Very nice work, gyus :) Keep it up ;)
...and excuse me for criticism, but MEC1 hadn't any advantage except for pretty good graphics.
Military mistakes was continually - f.e. already mentioned by Hassan M163 which can crush syrian tanks, and Ural-based export variant of ZRK Krug (Oval) which you named as Grad and give it ability to attack ground targets... :D
But forget whatever I said.
As i see, you will not use outdated vehicles such as M113 or T-72?
