Jerusalem is under siege, heavily armored soldiers from Europe make claim to the Holy Land in the name of peace and equality. Those fighting for Israel and Islam separately contemplate their fates, wondering how it came to this. They share the same god, yet kill each other in his name. They face similar hardships, yet aim to compound them in the other. How is it that one of the most sacred places known to man, has seen so much bloodshed? M1A3 Abrams and F-35's may have replaced knights and horses, police action may have replaced religious fervor but the fact remains that at the end of the day, the Holy Land may yet again be under control of the West. Welcome to the future, and the second Mideast Crisis. "Mideast Crisis 2"(MeC2) is a total conversion for "Command and Conquer 3: Tiberian Wars" and is developed by Isotx as the sequel to its "Command and Conquer: Generals - Zero Hour" conversion "Mideast Crisis". The staff for MeC2 is largely composed...

The real armed forces of the world has thought about the idea to use blimps for surveillance and transportation so one shouldn't be too suprised if they starts using them! :D

Description

AWACS – In an attempt to make surveillance of borders and settlements more effective and less expensive, Israel turned to airships. The first designs were little more than blimps with cameras on the bottom, but recent models are quite advanced. Wide and flat, they make stable surveillance platforms and are equipped as standard with visual, infra-red and motion-sensing cameras on stabilized mounts. No detail escapes these devices. Electronic marquee banners along the sides pass on information relevant to anybody in the area. As the threat of air attack from ballistic and cruise missiles, hijacked civilian aircraft and military warplanes has increased, these blimps have been retrofitted with lightweight radomes up top to make sure Israel is never caught off-guard. AWACS blimps in military service are digitally linked to vehicles and troops in the field, and combatants can use information from the blimps to fire much further with accuracy than they otherwise could.
