Fistful of Frags is a multiplayer modification for Source engine settled in the Old West. Its key features include:
- Fistful of Dollars game mode: original team oriented gameplay packed with fast paced action.
- Few Dollars More, Bounty and DeathMatch additional game modes
- Dynamic objectives: use your gun... and your brain too!
- Notoriety player progression system: measures player contribution to its team in several areas (combat, objectives and teamplay).
- Equipment and player full customization: spend your notoriety points in the exact weaponry, skills and visual customization you want. Includes more than 20 different items.
- 15 weapons, most of them with a secondary attack mode: fists, knife, axe, Colt Navy 1851 (single and dual), Colt SAA "Peacemaker" (single and dual), Deringer .41, double barrel shotgun, Henry repeating rifle 1860, bow, Smith carbine 1857, Sharps rifle 1874, dynamite and explosive bow!
- Fist fighting: stamina based combat, several kind of punches, including a special "knockout".
- Anti-tk system: play with friendly fire on, like the big boys do!
- 10 levels: western town, abandoned mission, desert forts, mexican village, mines, etc

Greetings FoF fans. This is our fifth update in 6 months and probably the most important one. Take a look at this HD video and the summary, that should convince you of the importance of this new beta.
New 3rd person animations: they took some time but here are finally. The word is ´immersion´, the feeling of a western shootout is much more vivid and you also know when enemy is reloading, which isn´t a bad thing either.
New maps: our rotation is growing in quantity and quality with the map fof_desperados. You may know it from CS:S and jackennils (the author) was very kind to let us use it and make some modifications as well. You´ll also enjoy fof_tramonto, bigger and better!
Railroad age is here: we introduce our moving steam train. Big thanks to Anime7Angel for his outstanding work in the locomotive and coal car. For the moment it will be mainly eye candy in our El Paso map, but soon you´ll discover new ways of playing FoF in upcoming levels.
Dynamic respawn system working as it should. This is a critical feature in our mod, if it doesn´t work adequately then game may become frustrating. The new version removes completely waiting times due occupied spawn points and also spawns you near teammates when possible. Bounty and FDM gamemodes were much more enjoyable in our testing because of that.
And much more! Translations to French, German, Spanish and Traditional Chinese (thank you all who helped!), improved in-game help, some annoying messages removed, notoriety retrieval system fully working, improved crosshair, accuracy stats and other additions to make the experience of playing FoF much more enjoyable. Please read the changelog while the update is being downloaded, there are some important fixes and many weapon tweaks as well.

I love how you guys just keep pumping out more and more features with each release. Keep it up! Still my #1 multiplayer mod!
All these amazing this and that but where's the players? :P I was going to play this more but it just lacked anybody playing it. Love western shooters though.
There is always at least one server with any where from 9-full players. Any time of the day.
You should find games with players easily, but most players are european so that restricts a bit the times when servers are active.
