We have been working in many additions since Fistful of Frags was released and here is our first update. Read the change log for a complete list, here is a summary:

- New sound, music, more smoke: Rich Douglas contributed with a nice new theme for menu, there are also several new sound fx´s you´ll hear during normal play for greater immersion. There is also a new convar to increase the amount of smoke, as you asked :)
- Gameplay improvements: we want to ensure every player knows what to do, so there is more information available. Teamplay also was enhanced with several important changes in the reward system.
- Bug fixes: server crashes, partially broken features were fixed
- Weapon balance: many slight changes there, basic weapons are faster, be sure to check them all!

This is a mandatory update for clients and servers, please download it here.

I've always imagined the origin as such; "frags" as in, to mess someone up so badly in multiplayer that it actually "frags" (fragments) their HD. Lol. :)

Yes, it is indeed the term for a "kill" in an online first person shooter, especially in the case of deathmatch-type games.

I believe it was first used in Quake (Correct me if I am wrong) wherein they took the Vietnam War term "frag," meaning friendly fire with a fragmentation grenade.

While i'm at it, I see that this is a Half-Life 2 mod, & I often here people using the term, Brush Work for Half-Life 2 mods, what is Brush Work?, if you don't mind me asking....;)

In terms of mapping "brush work" means the structure elements which the map is made of. When I create something in a map I use a count of brushes (different sized rectangular elements). There are also curves (also called patches) to create curved surfaces but they have only 2 dimensions. Brushes always have a volume (3 dimensions). I hope this was understandable, you have to know English is not my mother tounge.

Years ago I worked on a western mod for HL2 called Western Revenge, it got never release unfortunately and I’m not sure if anyone remembers. Anyway I’m impressed with the screenshots and I’m downloading the mod now.

Only one question I have, what’s with the lava in one of the screenshots?!
