Battlestar Galactica Colonial Wars is a mod for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption. The mod changes and adds in new units to all factions within the game, the Empire and the Cylons ally with eachother so do the Rebels And the Colonials leaving the Zann Consortium to their own devices and for Zann to contentrate on his desire.

Battlestar Galactica The Awakening is a mod which will be based on Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption but this time it is a total conversion everything will change all the units and all the factions, the game mod will turn SW EAW into Battlestar Galactica Univerese of Terror, the mod name is BSG the Awkening and it will focus on adding in the Cylons and the Colonial As an independent faction in their own universe, this will be a good mod for anyone who is a fan of BSG.
United Modding the creators of Battlestar Galactica Colonial Wars would like to thank everyone who has supported them over the period of a year since this mod has been under construction, we have had our highs and lows throughout the modding year and it has been tough with many things turning problems we sorted them and managed to release mods so that the public could enjoy, i would like to thank the following people for their outstanding service and gratitude towards the mod team and the affiliated modding group (United Modding )
Major a Payne- For all of his hard efforts with the coding modelling and anything else which is in the mod.
Mrtom- For being a Dedicated member in the Moderation Department.
Without the above people this mod would not have been possible the mod has come its released but now its time has come to go, while we will be releasing the last version this does not meen the end of us, we will be back with better mods to come i hope to release another 4 mods hopefully for EAW and FOC before i perhaps move to mod a different game, at this moment in time i will stay with EAW and FOC.
On Behalf of the Staff at United Modding i would like to thank everyone for their hardwork, a new webpage and a permanant webpage will be put in place in the next couple of months so that this will showcase the final version of our mod and allow you to see the up to date versions and information needed on this page.

Well as the title says BSG Colonial Wars was in the May USA Edition of Pc Gamer, titled Mod of the Month, it appears that we have been recognised as a good mod , below are some images for you to view from the magazine one of the main page and then zoomed up onto our part, i have to say i big thankyou to PC Gamer itself for recognising this mod, but mostly to Major a Payne without him this mod wouldn't be where it is, he outstanding skill in both modelling and coding has led us to this mod, with my combined assitance with web hosting and running and releasing the mod i have to say on my part most credit for this mod should be given to Major a Payne.
I am proud that this mod is one of two mods from the Empire at War Community which has been in this magazine and in my year and a half in modding in this community i have seen many great mods and i hope they will sometime get their fare share of public publicity. Thanks is given to everyone who has helped the mod in its production.
I hope that everyone feels like i do because i was shocked when i was told by one of our american fans and thanks is also givento swgbex for also notifying me and for scanning the magazine article for us, Thanks.

THIS MOD IS AWESOME! i love getting behind the camera in a viper 2. but it seems on land that they don't fire at anything. i am not sure to space yet but i will check shortly. i love BSG new and i would love to see all the planets on there journey to earth. maybe even the passage to food through the sun to the eye of jupiter. make a lions head bomb to place in space to infect the cylons....that would be really cool. i do hope to see more. there seems to be only ONE GALACTIC CONQUEST map featuring all hereos, Will there be more?? Also is there going to be a campaign feature? Again, THIS MOD IS AWESOME. thanks for the fun.
I have noticed the lack of attacking that certain ground based ships do, and I'm not entirely certain how to sort it out as they will be more inclined to attack infantry and ground units only (unless instructed to do otherwise). To successfully create a full GC featuring all the necessary planets would cause a problem on one front. That problem being that I've yet to see anyone actually create a completely new planet (including new textures and a brnad new model, not just creating a new planet using an existing model), but once CW is finished with and the new project is underway the first thing that will be completely overhauled is likely to be the galactic map (theres a few special items to include). For now though there will be several custom GC's included with v5.0 of this project and the sixth one will have a complete additional system added to it. I'm not sure what you mean concerning this "bomb" you stated about, and as for a brand new campaign. That might be difficult as certain elements of the campaign are most likely hardcoded and unchangable.
The viper is still awesome on the ground, i am glad you created it. too bad about the campaign. i figured it would be next-to or just impossible since i haven't seen any out there. it is sad that there is just the zann campaign on FOC. "The BOMB" not really a bomb, but could be. it was a beacon found by the cylons at the lions head nebula. it infected the cyclons with a disease with no hope of rescue or ressurection....could be a special item also. just an idea to throw at you. it sounds like you will be busy enough. you have a long road ahead. i wish i could help. i am trying to teach myself to write xmls. if or when i feel confident, maybe i could help you out if you need it. thanks also for the fast reply and for the excellent game. i am off to continue my Game.
p.s. how come no boomer in the GCs, i only saw her in Skirmish.

The reason is that she is skirmish only. Most of the colonial larger ships have a raptor launch anyway and the only difference is that she has a engine boost ability. I'm not sure about this "bomb" capability. It might be possible, btu I've not looked into this sort of thing before. Any further ideas feel free to head to the forums and post. Even if they arent' included in this project there is always the follow up TC which is in the works.
