Renegade X is a mod dedicated to recreating C&C Renegade in the new generation engine, the Unreal Engine 3. We all believe the Command and Conquer series is a very special one, and its fans have been following its games for over a decade now. C&C has been one of the most successful videogame series in the RTS Genre. Our modding team believes that C&C Renegade is truly a hidden gem in the FPS genre. C&C Renegade's specialty was its multiplayer mode, because it was not mindless killing like most games. A player was thrown into a battle as soon as he joined a server, in which teamplay was the only way to win. The game revolves around a war between the Global Defense Initiative, and the Brotherhood of Nod. Each faction would have their own base of operations consisting of buildings. A team had to work together to destroy the enemy base, while keeping theirs intact. Obelisk/Advanced Guard Tower (Base defenses) Without these, your team has no automatic defense. Hand of Nod/ Barracks...

Really nice i cant wait for this mode.... would be nice to see some building/bases and maybe working harvester and stuff but i am sure thats coming
I suppose the base with red lights is a Nod but why the GDI has blue ones? GDI's standard color is yellow.
Great vid also. I especially like the design of the tiberium crystals.
I forgot to mention that for Hourglass, those bases are temporary Unreal tournament 3 VCTF bases. It'll all be replaced with Renegade bases once we get them done.
Keep working on those maps guys, this is some really awesome stuff.
Perhaps...you guys could release like a standard Infantry and baseless Public Beta. :D
it'd feel like Renegades DM servers though.
But still!..I just really want to admire this mod(not that I don't already) and just want to look how lovely it all is!

Dunno if it is intended or already been said but; i think the waterfalls are to noisy. you barely heard the gun fire. but then again its kinda realistic.. or not?
Real waterfalls are pretty noisy too =P We have one not too far from here.

It has very Tiberian Sun style. Darkish, gloomy places, and music fits btw.
