Renegade X is a mod dedicated to recreating C&C Renegade in the new generation engine, the Unreal Engine 3. We all believe the Command and Conquer series is a very special one, and its fans have been following its games for over a decade now. C&C has been one of the most successful videogame series in the RTS Genre. Our modding team believes that C&C Renegade is truly a hidden gem in the FPS genre. C&C Renegade's specialty was its multiplayer mode, because it was not mindless killing like most games. A player was thrown into a battle as soon as he joined a server, in which teamplay was the only way to win. The game revolves around a war between the Global Defense Initiative, and the Brotherhood of Nod. Each faction would have their own base of operations consisting of buildings. A team had to work together to destroy the enemy base, while keeping theirs intact. Obelisk/Advanced Guard Tower (Base defenses) Without these, your team has no automatic defense. Hand of Nod/ Barracks...

Renegade 2007 is a total conversion mod for the upcoming game, Unreal Tournament 3. We intend to recreate Westwood's "Command and Conquer: Renegade" first person shooter, with some fresh, new ideas. The Renegade 2007 team is doing everything from scratch on the powerful Unreal Engine 3, with the permission EA-LA. Renegade 2007 is recreating C&C Renegade for what it was: a game of its own.

Here's small taste of our work:

Renegade 2007's music department has been busy making high quality remixes of Frank Klepacki's original work. We've so far recreated two of Frank K's songs, and have met great success. Below is a download link containing a zip of our current two songs: "Command & Conquer", and "Got a Present for Ya!".

I got home today, and started up firefox. Moddb is my homepage, so then as it load up. These AWESOME screenshots widen my eyes! It was such high quality my eyes are not used to seeing! These are so cool! All these great mods are coming out for the next UT, I have a feeling that the mod comunity for UT is in for a wild ride. =D

What no bormal and specular maps for ut3 mod ? Makes it look not too good . The gun looks like from quake 2 texture is kinda blury and undetailed, but I doubt thats becose of a small texture ;) Add normal and specular maps to thoes models and they will look a lot better already .

That Personal Ion cannon, will have some changes done, it will include a spec map and not be so worn out looking....that's not a final texture for it.
