== MechWarrior: Living Legends =="Will you be a living legend or a forgotten casualty?"
By the 31st century, humanity has spread to thousands of worlds, while a handful of powerful empires wage continual war for the right to rule the stars. Foremost among the weapons used in that struggle are BattleMechs. Loaded with auto cannons, missile launchers, lasers, and charged-particle beam weapons, these fusion-powered war machines of articulated armor stand upward of ten meters high. Piloting them are MechWarrior’s, the best, most intensively trained men and women available. Like the armored knights of an earlier age, MechWarrior’s are popular heroes, and their exploits are the stuff of legends.
MechWarrior: Living Legends (MWLL) is a total conversion modification for Crysis. MWLL is at its very core a mix between a First Person Shooter (FPS) and a Simulation (SIM). This will be achieved through the use of a mixed arms massively multiplayer gaming experience where the player takes part in a battle using a variety of vehicles and weapons. MWLL is using the concepts pioneered by the “Battlefield” franchise and more recently Crysis, of a sandbox feel where you get to play what you want and how you want it. MWLL depicts the epic struggles between the two factions of Battletech “The Clans” and “The Inner Sphere”. Maps will typically have a mix of vehicles and infantry combat, using both of these to complete objectives as a team will be essential to winning rounds or campaigns in MWLL. In the project we will be bringing some of the legends of “MechWarrior” franchise back to life with new art and animations that do justice to these huge weapons of war and also do something that’s never be done before using the deep universe of Battletech. There are so many facets to Battletech and finally comes a title that is willing to explore them.

We're proud to announce the relaunch of our completely re-designed website.
In addition to the new look, there is a lot of new content, too.
We have assembled a number of questions that have been asked about the mod itself in our Mod F.A.Q..
One of the new treasures on the site is the updated Mod Info section, which now contains quite detailed lists of Clan and IS vehicles, classes and weapons and a multi-page battletech history.
You need to have Flash and Javascript running in your browser to see this player.

Fucking Awesome Models :)
OK so I just glanced at the top threads on the homepage of the Crymod site as I closed it and saw your mod thread listed there, so I guess you do know about it. lol sorry, my bad.
I forgot to mention: One of the other mods on moddb called Obsidian Edge 'apparently' has the help of Crytech with their mod. They linked Crymod.com for the crytech modding community. I don't know if that's what they class as Crytech helping them, but if they really are helping modders then it could be of great benefit to your team and the mod. Sorry if you already knew about this, I'm just covering all bases ;)
take care guys.
What's wrong with the Microsoft games? (OK, I admit that Mech3 wasn't that great...) The 'Mech models and animations in the Mech4 series were great, the feet and legs moved realistically against the terrain and the walking/running animations were beautiful, especially for the chicken legged medium mechs (Uziel and Shadowcat were particularly nice IMO). I don't see a problem with them and I've played all the Mechwarrior games, yes including the hard to find original. The only thing I miss is the encyclopedia from Mech2 with all the clan and 'Mech info, I used to jump in the game just to read that sometimes ;)
Anyway, getting back to the animations, I hope you guys can maintain good Microsoft quality animations and ground collision. Not to say I don't have faith in your team, but to me that element of the feet and legs interacting at different levels on the terrain in Mechwarrior 4 was fantastic, it just made it that much more believable that these machines could work in the real world. Having 'Mechs capable of crouching and falling over would be great too. I guess it all depends on engine limitations though.
Good luck, guys! I'll be watching this space for sure!
Oh, and PLEASE put my Uziel in there!! :D *makes PPC sounds with lips* :D
what about the black lanner cjf mech will it be in the games
IS it going to crysis???? :(
This mod will kick ass (still hoping for MW5) but will there be a Deimos or Marauder?
MadCat is coming don't you worry....its only the most iconic Mech of MechWarrior...she's not forgotten, just want to take our time on that one :D
