If you had the power to stop tyranny, would you? Or would you crush those who threaten the peace? Phoenix Rising brings you to the waning days of the Galactic Republic and gives you that choice. Help the Galactic Empire to bring order to the galaxy, or aid the Alliance to Restore the Republic in its struggle for freedom.

Command your armies and navies in an accurate and captivating depiction of battle. Highly technical readouts allow for instantaneous ascertainment of individual unit strengths and weaknesses in eight statistical categories. Deploy your forces where they are most advantageous to excel in combat.

But to win the war, you must master not only strategy, but technology. Direct the greatest minds of a generation to propel your war effort forward by researching innovative new designs, or by improving old ones. The asynchronous tech tree allows you to choose in which areas you would like to specialize without forcing the research of all.

You decide how the galaxy will emerge from the ashes of the Clone Wars.

oh yeah, and it does take FOREVER to go through shields on ships... so yeah, as Thanok said, this mod really drops the ball in space content, and does stand as, despite all the content, the worst mod...

I don't really like this mod, I mean it all looks great but once you get into space battles all the hardpoints are gone, as a result the strategy of attacking certain components first is thrown out the window, and it just becomes a battle of brute force and numbers... you really should bring back destructible hardpoints if you haven't already, I lost interest in this mod because of the lack of hardpoints on the starships.

looks good but far too buggy and keeps crashing (i keep getting "exception" error messages) >.< - maybe too many planets on GC for the games engine

would be better if the hero display thing (top right hand corner on GC) had been kept cos now you have to LOOK for the heros... :\

Omg, this mod took a lot of work, and a lot of time. And what came out? The worst mod ever, boring, stupid, "unrealistic". Ties are good against Corvettes, Corvettes are good against...nothing, you need a Star Destroyer to destroy a mine, and even then it takes oone or two minutes (!!). The SSD is an assurance, it takes 15 inutes (!!!!!!) to build it, but only if you activated the acceleration before. Thats the only way to play this mod, and even than its boring. DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS MOD IF YOU WANT TO PLAY SPACE!!!!!
I ont comment the landmode because i didnt played it yet.
