This game is based on a darker perspective of the Sonic Universe, and will be for mature players only. If you're under the age of whatever Unreal Tournament 2007 is in your country, you shouldn't play this game. Like UT2007 it will contain violence, blood, gore, with the off chance of cursing and possibly some sexual references.
A:DR is an Action Adventure Puzzle Horror game, if you can call it that.
..What to expect..
New characters, old friends, new zones, new allies, new foes.
No ripped levels, bosses, vehicles or objects from Sega games.
And most of all NO PLOT HOLES!
..Gameplay..
This isn't a shooter like UT2004, you will have to find objects to use, solve puzzles, and interact with a number of NPC characters to progress through the story. With it not being a first person shooter, we also don't want it to be like Sonic Heroes, Shadow the Hedgehog where you run from A to B jumping and dodging things, so we opted to use the Sonic Adventure playfield setup.
..Features..
..What about multiplayer??..
30+ Characters to choose from.
5 online gametypes to play.
Whats the difference between the UT2004 and UT2007 versions of A:DR?
The UT2007 version will feature better graphics, better models, and additional levels and characters than its UT2004 counterpart.
This is a HUGE project and it WILL take along time due to the amount of custom content that needs creation.

As you are aware we are busy working on getting the UT2004 tech demo together, so no work as of yet has really been started on this version of ADR.
Currently some of the team is researching the new UT3 engine and watching video tutorials of the new engine at work, as well as playing UE3 games like Gears of War, Rainbow Six: Vegas and Roboblitz, to get a feel of what can be acomplished in the new Game Engine.
Until the Release of Unreal Tournament 3, there will not be much progress on ADR:UT3.
But as soon as the tech demo is out, we will be using Roboblitz as a test bed for ADR:UT3 content. We will post renders of objects and characters that will be imported into the game as and when their done.

I think the team wants to try to release both versions during the same time period. And besides, you guys said that you were going to see if UT2004 stuff worked with UT3, did they work?
NoNot to be a jerk but why would you start on the UT3 versoin already since the 2004 version isnt reay yet?
I mean, u already havent got that much Team members
Actually doing it this way is a bit of a cheat for the Ut2004 version.
And alot of things get reused for UT2004.
This way makes it a faster release for both versions.
At the moment I'm the only mapper, modeler, and animator, on the team so I need a short cut.
y not concentrate the full team on the UT2004 version get that finsihed then u guys would have plenty of time to concentrate and maxamise the port for the unreal engine 3
personaly like this its seems u guys r creating too much work for urselves u dont want the mod to die after so much hard work
Production has started on the UT3 version of ADR, with the modeling of props for characters and levels.
We have the new unrealed. the one shipped with RoboBlitz gives us a head start for the UT3 version.
The forums are a little haywire as you so put it due to some difficulties with Ip addressing
Sorry guys but your forum has gone haywire. As for the mod though, it looks great. And how can you be predicting a emo when you cant even get the new UnrealED yet, never mind make all the stuff for the mod that you will need for a demo?
No problem. :)
thanks for telling me
Its down to the engine version.
UT'99 the first ever Unreal Tournament was built using the UE1. (Unreal Engine 1)
UT2003 & UT2004 was built on UE2. Hence the whole 2XXX thing.
They recently decided that seeing as UT2007 was very different in storyline compared to the previous versions of UT and the fact that its built on UE3. They decided to rename it to UT3. Also it could be due to UT being released on Console (Xbox 360 and PS3) as well as PC.
