Land of the Dead: Road to Fiddlers Green is a Horror/Survival first person shooter from Brainbox Games. The game was released around October 2005, about the same time as the movie, Land of the Dead. It generally received poor reviews and was entirely broken.
Dead Epidemic changes all of this.
You play the role of Sgt. John Gates. Five years ago, you were sent to stop a terrorist organization by the name 'C.O.I.L', but everything goes wrong once you find your team slaughtered. One of your team has been poisoned by an unknown virus, and you have taken him back to civilization, were he died.
Problem was... he didn't stay dead.
It has been five years since the outbreak has occurred, and you have been stationed at a run down military base. There is no cure, and the hopes of finding one is very small amongst the remaining survivors. You have just gotten word that Dr. Necro, the man responsible for C.O.I.L, has just been found on a remote island of 'Queensport'. It is up to you and your new team to hunt down this madman and stop him from enhancing the virus. But on your way to Queensport, your transport helicopter get's shot down by Necro's militia, leaving you stranded without weapons, navigation, and a team in the middle of the country.
Dead Epidemic features a number of brutal weaponry to defend yourself with, ranging from shotgun's, pistol's, machine gun's, and explosives. All weapons have some sort of secondary attachments such as flashlights, brass knuckles, and a m203 grenade launcher. If you feel like one is not enough, you can dual most pistol's and sub machine gun's in the game.
We also introduce vehicles, which was a very missed part in Land of the Dead. Run those undead over and watch them splat on your windshield!
Not only is there zombies in the game, but we introduce even bigger threats...
The single player game has over 20 massive level's to keep you busy with a diverse story line. But if that's not enough, you can play around in the free-roam game type... where Queensport is your killing ground.
Dead Epidemic is set to come out Q3-4 of this year.

In this teaser, John previously completes his objective of gaining Intel from survivors. Upon reaching the end of the map, there is no way through the tunnels. But what lies in the public restroom beyond the closed door?
You'll have to find out on your own when it's released this summer!

Why not Zombay? I think that fact gives to the mod a really great feeling of cooperating partner like all games nowadays have. I really like the idea.
P.S Can't wait to it's release.
Why not?. Well some games are better off with just one protagonist in the story. Zombie games especially. LOTD was good because of it's atmosphere [not it's controls]. It made you feel alone with no one but yourself to get you to saftey [if there is anywhere safe]. Working together a lot isn't atmospheric or eerie. Going it alone is. I dont mind there being a woman partner in the game, just as long as she isn't in it a lot. Maybe a couple of levels at the most.
I hope the female character isn't in it for too long.

Still i no you have said multi has been canned, but its there even a small chance you may do it in the future?

Well a few new things got introduced, so that held us back. But we are currently half way through matinee.
I discussed this with someone in a recent PM, I will be making a small patch for LOTD before or after DE's release that allows DE's zombie and weapon features to be played on LOTD multiplayer without being in the Dead Epidemic directory. I'm still unsure when I will do this, but it shouldn't take to long to do.
No demos, sorry. The way we started off the mod, it will be almost impossible to make a demo without giving away all the games content.
Hi I'm really looking fordward for this awesome mod! I'd like to make you some questions about it, though.
1 - Is there any lead female character?
2 - Is it possible to add survivors to rescue them?
3 - It would be really nice to add some darkie places like houses or a graveyard.
That's all, I know it's been a long work since you all started this, but I was just wondering if you can tell me the realease date for download... or at least if that it will be in the near future...

1. Yes there is, actually you team up with her on certain missions.
2. We were planning on adding the survivors idea, but it would take to long and it would delay our release date a lot. But we currently have survivors walking around the military base map where you start off.
3. We have a flashlight on our Glock17, so darker places have been added.
Release date keeps getting messed up, I'm just going to keep my mouth shut on it. :P
Is it Multiplayer too?
Multiplayer has been canned for a few months now, we just don't have time.
no problem with that, Id enjoy a single player of this more, play enough of multiplayer atm, keep up good work,
