So you may ask, 'why BF1942?' well, a number of reasons, for instance, since the BF42 engine and graphics are older, things like increasing draw distance, more accurate ballistics, and game physics would be easier to run, especially for older computers, than they would on newer games. and to be honest its just easier too work with. Though versions for BFV, BF2, and even Red Orchestra have been discussed, may be embarked upon in the future, after the successful completion, and release, of this version. until then though this mod team will continue to work in BF42.

But is not only of a movie , they used the mossin nagant is a carbine maded on belgium and used by the soviets on wwii is long 1.23 meters , and the uniform is similar than the uniform used by the N.V.A on the battlefield vietnam but they have paldrons , i dont know how to model i must learn ,but if i learn i can help you.
I'm fully aware, this is why we need skinners and modelers, can you model? because if so please help. more over I'm not gong to have anyone model from any thing used in a movie. ninety percent of the time movies are grossly inaccurate. especially when hundreds of cameramen where sent to the conflict and the war is heavily pictorially documented, i have at least 30 pictures of Chinese and north Korean uniforms. also, we have bayonets already.
Hum,the uniform of the communist soldiers is not correct, is better you create another uniform for then like the uniform of the brotherhood of war movie.
And you can make the mossin nagant rifle for the communist and make bayonets
is simple when u swicht for knife the knife will be a bayonet in front of the rifle then u atack and kill your enemy

well... i tryed not to put it so bluntly, but thats what i thought too, lol.
wow, alien firefox is a stupid sob, this is just talking about the f4 thing right now, cause i really didnt read ne thing else, u got ur planes mixed up, the F-4 Phantom was meant to kill Mig 17's not 15's, then The NVA started using Mig21's (which in my opinion arent ne greater than the 15) and guess where i got all that from, a company that doesnt do much research on wars when they make a war game to begin with, our friends DICE
