Battlegroup Frontlines
Dec 20, 2007 Full Version 0 commentsBattlegroup Frontlines v1.0 client download - 1.32 GB.
The goal of BattleGroup-Frontlines is to shift the players of Battlefield 2 back to the Second World War. BattleGroup-Frontlines will feature an extremely authentic atmosphere. Features include:
- Historically accurate vehicles, aircraft, and weapons
- Realistic and accurate sounds
- Realistic weapon aiming aiming and firing physics
- Famous battlefields
Our team's goal of realism is an ambitious one, with the need of incorporating accurate weapons, vehicles, etc. Naturally, a few things will need to be amended for the sake of quality gameplay, but with realism still held to the highest standard. We believe that it is possible to incorporate both incredible realism and exciting gameplay, and BattleGroup-Frontlines will achieve that balance.
In BattleGroup-Frontlines, you are given the option of playing as one of several great nations: Great Britain, Germany, United States, and Russia. Smaller countries will also be involved, but not as the primary players. For our first release, the situation will be on the Eastern front, with German and Russian forces. Battles on the Eastern front include Kursk, Stalingrad, Strike on Memel river, Dneiper river 1941 and 1943, Petrenkov, and Kamenets-Podolskiy. To begin, I Jung would personally like to apologize to the community for not posting the last many news posts on ModDB. If you've missed any, which you definitely have if you don't visit our site or other sites, please visit our homepage at www.bgfmod.com If you haven't heard, our mod release is right around the corner, so here are two important items for our news. The first is that our release-candidate has been finished at the weekend. It is now in intensive testing to grant a bugfree mod for you. No more content will be added to this build and all maps have a status of 100%. It will not take much longer for a release. The wait is almost over! The other great news is that today we have yet another map to show. It was done by our old beta tester FuchsWiesel its name is "Borisovka Bahnstation". We would like to welcome FuchsWiesel as well as Spaetzle in the Dev-team. Both are helping into the mapping department. FuchsWiesel started Borisovka and with the help of Benseras, who did the final lighting as well as adding some little details, the map was finished for our first release!
Again, please visit our website at www.bgfmod.com to see our previous updates not posted on ModDB to get an idea what our maps, vehicles, and gameplay will be like!
