Hello people, sorry about the recent lack of news.
First, we would also like to welcome Ahdanakh to the team. He joined the team a week ago, and fills the previously empty composer position. This means that each faction will have it's own set of songs for everything from the galactic map to battles, as well as each release having it's own theme song for the menu screen. Another recent addition to the team is Qui0Jinn, who joined the team as a mapper and does some of the best terrain I've ever seen in Empire at War.
As for actual development news, Dr. Nick is working on improving the graphical effects in the game, such as turbolasers, skydomes, explosions, etc (pictures of the results will be posted in a future update). Qui0Jinn, Enceladus and to a lesser extent, myself, are also very close to completion of the land maps for Thrawn's Revenge: Empire of the Hand. At this point, I believe there are somewhere around eight or nine left, including the maps we feel need to be redone. Fuzzy.Wazzy is currently working to finish off the concepts for the Empire of the Hand building and land unit sets. I am currently working mainly on a weapon retooling project, basically meaning I'm redoing almost every space weapon and hardpoint in the game to be a bit more canon. For example, we now have single, dual, quad and octuple turbolasers, ranging from Medium to Heavy. We will probably be releasing a chart for each faction, detailing which ships will have what to the Admiral's Lounge soon.
Next up are some map layouts and unit renders (there are a few more in the gallery). As always, close-up pictures from the maps can be seen on our forums.
That's all for now, may have another April update, but then again we may not. Beta testers will be chosen soon.

Sii Ruvi!!Damn nice Job on adding that,That was the one of the most Un-expected things i could imagine for EaW
since you will eventually have all the factions included can you include maps that will have enough room for more than 3 different armies?
All of our maps are 4 times bigger than the originals. You will never have more than 3 playable factions in a skirmish at a time, as the game only allows for three teams and this is not editable from what we've seen and heard.
can you mix era's in skirmish or whatever?
*on, srry I skimmed the post when I checked for spelling errors
Srry if I've ben pretty much dead for the past couple months, I was kinda converted to PR.... >.> anyways, I (Finally) registered oon your forums, but I don't know where to start.....
Anywhere is fine.
