Mars Wars
- an Unreal Tournament 2004 mod. Mars Wars... As you can probably guess, takes place on Mars! It will take you though all sectors of the fourth rock from the sun through an intensive multiplayer campaign. Battle on the surface of Mars in APCs, Jeeps, and Aesir Fighters. Then go into buildings below to battle in levels like Killbox and Checkmate. Mars Wars promises to bring you non-stop action and entertainment! Make no mistake, Mars Wars is different from any Unreal Tournament 2004 mod you've ever seen!
Make no mistake, this mod will be different from all other UT2004 mods.
Why not for Unreal Tournament 3? (faq)
UT3 doesn't allow me to host servers. <- main reason (why bother making a multiplayer shooter that you can't play in multiplayer?)
Everything takes longer to make. <- lazy reason

Hello Mars Wars fans, time for another update.
This time I'll be showcasing some of the new and updated maps for Mars Wars 2.1
Right on the first screenshot you'll see one of the many new and improved character
animations, Parker holding the Pistol - in a more realistic manner than before.
I've taken care of many animations the last few nights. Looks more solid and natural now :)
I've also digged out an older map which somewhat got lost in the list of maps. CTF04 Nemesis
- a remake. Created by Goober. It has some great gameplay and atmosphere I must say.
Above on the right you can see a new map named MWRA-Joust, created by Assaultman67.
It's a railarena styled maps with 3 platforms. Most of the fighting is done in mid air, so be
prepared for some serious Matrix-alike fights =D
I've also been working on a new Menu look, this is how it's looking like right now.

do you see this in a negative or positive sense? :P
Well it was a lot of work, I hope it was worth it and you like the results. :) I'm always trying to make animations/models look as good as possible. Textures is not my strengh, I could yet not find anyone who could help me out.
I don't really mind to be honest, and I like the results.
you should seriously think about porting it to ue3 because ue2 doesnt really work with vista anymore.. well atleast mine

maybe someone else could pick up production on an UE3 version of MarsWars if RED-FROG doesnt feel like it.
One reason for not making MW on UT3:
I can't host any servers in UT3.

Mars Wars2.1 is great on UT2004.
