I hope you can find a way to smooth the ends of the hallways.
Now, bring the passengers. I want them alive.
I would suggest just making a high quality model just for the end caps of each hallway, it would hide the lower sided actual halls.... would set it off well.. nice work...
Use displacements for the ends of the hallway, you don't need models.
(Look in the texture application tool displacements tab to use them, there are a few tutorials about)
Lol there making for an awesome map; I think they know how to use displacement.
