Tiberium Desolation is a modification for the 2002 action game Command and Conquer: Renegade that aims to create a more sophisticated and enjoyable multiplayer experience. The primary focus of the modification is on team based action, requiring players to work together efficiently as a team in order to win.

Tiberium Desolation is set 15 years after the events of Tiberian Sun (and Firestorm). The forces of the Global Defence Initiative (GDI) and The Brotherhood of Nod (NOD) continue to fight for the last remaining land not touched by the continuously growing Tiberium. The battle takes place in Northern Africa - GDI's last stronghold.

Choose to fight for either The Brotherhood of Nod, specialists in stealth technology and guerrilla tactics, or the Global Defence Initiative, a more technologically superior organisation. Will you help to expel the fanatical NOD forces, or will you fight tirelessly for the good of The Brotherhood and Kane?

Features:
- Command up to and over 20 vehicles including the GDI Sonic Tank and the NOD Tiberium Tank.
- Total access to new full scale structures like the Hospital and Mutant Facility.
- Wreak havoc with new and exclusive units such as the Mutant Commando.

As Monkey_Toes stated, the mod is officially dead (and has been for quite some time now). Whether or not he starts the project back up again is a different story, but for the moment Tiberium Desolation will never see release. I would like to thank Monkey_Toes for the opportunity to help out with this mod. It's a shame that I didn't get the website released on time.

While Tiberium Desolation may be dead, other mod projects aren't. Currently I am working alongside several talented individuals on another C&C related project (yet to be announced on ModDB, but has been announced on PlanetC&C and GPGnet), and needless to say we need help on both the modeling and mapping fronts.

If you anyone is interested in helping out in the creation of an RTS C&C mod, whether it would be mapping, modeling, skinning etc, please don't hesitate to drop me a line. It doesn't really matter if you want to be a full-time team member or just helping out with one skin or model - any help is appreciated, and you will be credited for everything that you do.

Im closing down this mod, i no longer have any time to spend on the mod and without a decent modeller the mod is going nowhere. So i wont patronise people by telling you that im finding a new modeller and that ill get back to the mod in a few months, it just wont happen! I want to thank klink for helping out. I may restart this mod in the future but for now its dead.

Over the last month little work has been done on the mod, due to my pc crashing. But ive got a shiny new one now so there should be lots of updates soon.

That is not the same mod as this one. CnC:Tiberium Desolation is a brand new mod.

looks like this mod will add everything that people wished for like that tiberium tank! (weeeeeee!)
but alas the mod is still young and may fall to predators that have deveolped an appetite for mods... so it is important that this mod can fight off those nasty mod killing things like computer theft and disinterest

As you can see the new GDI Assault Rifle still needs to be skinned but the new pics should give you an idea of what it will look like when its finished.
