Finally!! after three years of development arrives the Half-Life MOD Zion Warcry.
The previous Betas ( including the pre_v1.0 and the previous called "shitbeta" :D ) were the first tries of putting togheter what I was learning bit by bit. Now the final work is in your hands.
The MOD now has BOTs for solo players and much more features that in a first time I thoutght to add.
I am actually working in the next version, I don't think I'll start a SOURCE version nor a HL2 version, aniway, I am working on the new maps ( only concept ) , enemies and new code. I want to upgrade the ZWC Bot because I think it's good for a newbie coder, but sometimes they're quite dumb.
The new version sure took me a few months to make it finished, I hope that, not far from Christmas but not before, I could give you an almost definitive version already prepared for STEAM.

Zion Warcry for Half-Life is getting better day by day, even if it's a hard work for a solo developer ( I'm doing all aspects of the mod O_o ) and I'm doing new things every day!!.
Because some IMPORTANT "Bugs" were found in the code and in the zw_map, the fixing of all them started as soon as the first real massive playing test started. Also the MOD was tested succesfully in low-end computers to see if It could be played by everyone, and not only by the owners of hi-end computers ( mine is a P4 3.2 GHz, 1024 RAM DDR2 with a 256 ATI RAdeon graphic Card ).
Tests are done playing LAN games ,using the following systems ,without problems of excessive LAG ; of course LAG appeared when more than 100 sentinels started to fly around :D, but even this is fixed in the next Beta. Resolution was 1024x768.

MinPing and MaxPing is the LATENCY shown in the SCORE Table In Game.

The singleplayer part was disabled the time I've coded the Bot. On a first attempt I've used the code of the hgrunt ( modified ) to make the AI of the APU fellows, onece I've added the bots, you can play singleplayer matches using hte LAN game option. Follow the instructions of the manual ( sorry for my bad english ), create a LAN game and then add as much BOTS as you wish.

Hey, I've got some troubles! I have a Non-Steam HL, and after I installed this mod, I was only able to play multiplayer game, so the single doesn't load any map, while I click it. Can you help me? Thanks!

I have retired patch for the Bot because I have found a BUG enormous: the player obtains the limitless ammunition. I will return to add new patch as soon as I can.
Hello, not if it will pass with Zion warcry just like with the MOD Predator vs predator , but don't get surprised if the Warner Brothers forces to me (or does not force Moddb) to retire the MOD. Who knows
I have limited the ammo for the APUs so you must use it wisely, it's cool to press both triggers and enter in BERSERK mode, but it has its own risks ;) .You can reload in the TROJAN armories ( read the manual!!, I've done a small description of each battle zone !! ).
Next version will have a system of heat detection with which, if you press fire for a too long time, weapons will overheat and stop firing...

ZWC could be in its v1.0, but I forgot to mention that the ZWCBot is only A BETA!!! so it has some failures...

The firstperson view is from inside the cockpit of the APU mech...what problems are you having ?
Hello. I have had to upload a patch for the ZWCBot. You will have noticed which, after a certain period of time, the Bot don't shoot, leaving you little with "the ass to the air", alone and without aid. Then, this is corrected, download the patch and then you must replace folders DLL and cl_dll within the folder of the MOD and, voilá!!, Bots will fight until their last breath !!.
The MOD is for the WON version oh Half-Life...aniway there's a patch here:
