First Strike is a Star Wars total conversion modification for Battlefield 2142. The goal of First Strike is to totally immerse the players into the amazing universe of Star Wars by presenting the most accurate representations of famous Star Wars locales, weapons, and characters, and combining them with exciting, fast paced gameplay and features new to the Battlefield scene. Within this mod you'll find yourself as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or as a freedom fighter for the Rebel Alliance. You'll fight across lovingly detailed recreations of various Star Wars locations with a wide array of weapons and vehicles.
One side will have to strike first, for that team will have the greatest advantage...or will it?

As mentioned in our most recent update, the First Strike team will be hosting a series of community games on our FSMod.com server. Beginning on Saturday, March 1st, the games will be held weekly at 19:00 GMT (7 pm GMT) every Saturday leading up to the release of First Strike v1.2. So come join us for some awesome, fun-filled, teamwork-oriented sessions of First Strike with other active members of our community, including many of our developers and testers. Let's fill that server people!

Hey anyone from the forums this is stardestroyersarecool im having a big problem, I cant get into the forums on the site, get an error, also I cant see all the latest posts instead its an error box. HEEEEEEELP!!!!
If you want to see the servers go into servers and then select the Advanced tab, the servers will only show up if you're under advanced and everything is unchecked except for Same Mod and Small Medium and Large Map
I've been playing this mod every now and then but one of the main problems is finding a low ping server with players, high ping servers are no good because it makes it very hard to do any type of damage. Its good fun but its gotten boring pretty fast, I mean you do every level 5 times over then there's nothing new... can't complain though =D I look forward to updates!
Man ive been waitin for some playable porshon of this game to come out for a while. This download pretty damn cool. Im not finding any servers online to play on, is ther any reason to why that is i just like to run cuz its kina borin runnen around by myself with nothing to shoot at. Love this game
I've tried all the compatability options and stuff. I know its not an issue with First Strike itself. I've tried EA support and they don't help. They just say "this game was not tested for vista" well it should be damnit. I bought it with xp and it worked and it even worked under vista for a while before stopping for no reason. Or at least I havn't figured out the reason yet. Anyway, thanks for the help, if you think of anything else tell me!
