First Strike is a Star Wars total conversion modification for Battlefield 2142. The goal of First Strike is to totally immerse the players into the amazing universe of Star Wars by presenting the most accurate representations of famous Star Wars locales, weapons, and characters, and combining them with exciting, fast paced gameplay and features new to the Battlefield scene. Within this mod you'll find yourself as a soldier of the Galactic Empire or as a freedom fighter for the Rebel Alliance. You'll fight across lovingly detailed recreations of various Star Wars locations with a wide array of weapons and vehicles.
One side will have to strike first, for that team will have the greatest advantage...or will it?

Its Official FirstStrike is currently in closed Beta, chasing out all those little gremlins and irksome little bugs. The team is still very much hard at work tweaking and perfecting Maps and Models and content galore to bring you a release very soon.
Just to whet your appetite until the next update here are a couple of renders featuring some of the new content we bring into the mod on a daily basis. These screenies are from our recent developers diaries seen over at www.firststrikemod.com

This mod looks awesome.
Everything in phase 1 will be classic as we can get it in regards to Star Fighters.
A-Wing, B-Wing, X-Wing, Y-Wing, TIE Fighter, TIE Interceptor, TIE Bomber and a few other well know craft
Will you include any type of jedi fighters?

I dont care what anyone says this game looks much better then battle front 2, more detail and we actualy have some imput *appluse*
this mod really dows look amazing, I've been following it for about a month now and I can't wait to see the finished version of it.
